    Hey everyone,

59 days to go !!! just can't wait to get there and meet you all

anyone who got their package yet? I'm still waiting ??? hope it'll arrive soon, otherwise my flight ticket is going to be very pricy if I have to book a flight 3 weeks before the 20th. By the way, who's leaving from Brussels or Paris?

    bye all xxx

    Hi!

I called Megan and asked her when we can expect to get the Disney-packs and she told me that we won't get them before about 3-4 weeks before we depart (late december or early january) :(

    bye, Sigrid

I called 2 days ago and asked if I could book my flight. Apparently they're already booking the flights of the people living in France. I asked her if she could do the same for me because I don't mind leaving from Paris (I'm from Brussels). I don't want to pay 3000€ for my flight if I have to wait until 2 weeks before leaving.

    Are you also from France?

    Thanks for the info ;)

    Hello again!

No, I'm from Austria, but I had my interview in Paris - did we meet each other? I know that i met a girl from Belgium, but I don't know if that was you. I didn't know that they also book the flights for the participants - I thought we had to manage that ourselves. Megan sent me an information email about booking the flight and suggested me to wait until I've got the visa (it seems to be a difference between going on a tourist visa and going on a working visa - but I don't know what difference that makes for the booking of a flight). I thought about booking my flight in advance but because of the suggestion I don't know if that is a good idea - anyway, if they are booking the flights from Paris already, maybe I should also book my flight now. But I don't think that i will fly from Paris as there are direct flights to Orlando from Frankfurt and this is more convenient for me as I live in Salzburg/Austria and there are regular flights to Frankfurt (would the flight from Paris be a direct flight too? Then I maybe would think over it again :p.

    Hi Sigrid,

You have to wait for your visa before you book your flight because there might be problems with the visa (for ex: not delivered at time,...). You can book your flight now but you have be sure that you can exchange it for another date or that your flight can be remboursed. I asked if they could book my flight for me but I don't have an answer yet. I'm not sure if you have direct flights from Paris. I know that from Brussels you have a stop in NY or Phillie.
I'll let you know if I have more info.

    bye

    Hi everybody,

Welcome to the forum Alex. I know what you mean with saving up...I just booked my flight yesterday,so today I count how much money I had left and it's not so much so survive 6 months...Does anybody can tell me how do you do to live there with the salary Disney gives you? Is it enough or do you have to have a lot more money?

Hey Medardo, I haven't checked for the insurance yet. It seems that I need another insurance that I already have because it only covers me for 3 months. I'll give you more info as soon as I get any.

Take care you all, only a couple of weeks to go before the big adventure begins...

As u know, disney salary is not good guys, however is enough to survive, what we will earn will be enough to eat, to go sometimes to the clubs (which are not disney property), to buy some nice clothes and to travel maybe 1 or 2 times.

But don't worry about the money, we'll be so happy., lol

    I wanna get there nooooowwwwwwww

Yeh, if you have money then take it with you! You'll need it for the first few weeks deffo! You'll be buying stuff for your room, food and random crap! I eat out looads because it works out cheaper and easier than cooking... then in your second week of work two weeks rent will come out and you'll be left with $50 tops!
My average wage a week is around $180, thats for doing about 38 hours, and thats an alright amount for a week! Just dont blow it on clothes/drinking/other stuff in the first day like I do! :p
