Is it strange not to wear Bikinis at pool side?

Hey! Thanks so much for sending me the links of all these shops. I have checked them out. Yes. I agree that things sold in Ron JOn Surf shop are quite expensive. 1 bikini sells at $34.00 [HK$ 268 ]. I prefer tankini. YOu will not look like lobster having the top over your bikini. I will also have a t-shirt over the tankini. I don't wanna present myself or show off to others.

Are you worried about the cultural difference? I'm worried about the cultural difference which may deter me from getting along well with others.

 

Have anyone EVER worried about the CULTural Gulf which may distant you from others?
I'm worried about it.

 

I believe there is cultural gulf.
Can anyone help me out?

Don't worry yourself that much, it will all work out. I had many roomies from very different places and we all got along just fine. This is really not about where you are from, but what kind of personality you have. It is a variety of cultures there, but I think the Commons is the best place to merge all of them together! I had a chinese roomate who was lovely. She was always worried about doing something wrong lol I agree that you have to get used to some cultures and be very tolerant for others, but over all it really works out good. Just try to spend time with your roomies, get to know them...I never really went to parties with any of my roomies but we still shared so many great nights and leisure activities with each other, that we became so close!

as Julia said, don't worry about it.

No one is gonna look at you if you wear a 1 piece swimsuit... if you don't feel comfortable with bikinis that's ok, wear whatever you want.

Just like me, I'm not into boxers, I like to wear thongs, look this is gonna be my swimsuit:

Lol Marco - that made me laugh! each to their own... Actually last yr on holiday park in france where i worked, i had to do customer visits. One of my vists a dutch guy was wearing speedos he was really good looking but speedos... i was like hi im marie - didnt know where to look lol!

Melissa dont worry... just wear what u feel comfortable in, everyone seems so nice whose going to work for disney. Noones gonna judge u for what u wear.
