internet question

Yeah I was just going to do that to, then my friend came along
and i stole lol, the only thing then if your going to just do a lan
cable, is get a fricken long cable, Cause really those boxes are in
that most stupid places, and you want to be able to be on your couch
or on the table writing away to your friends, I got a super long one, i could
take it into my laundry room! lol.. You can get those for really cheep at walmart..
Don't worry abotu freaking out, i was just like you 2 weeks before i headed
out!! it's almost like it comes with the program.

 

Ah cool, thanks hunny I feel much more at ease!! the laptop comes with a cable and ive already got one, so i may get something to connect the 2 together! walmart sounds like the shop of wonders! obviously ive heard of it before but from the sounds of it, it sells anything your heart could possily desire!

 

just a question... the lan cable is the one that is like USB or the normal PHone cable???????

HAHA! Walmart is your Heaven when you are there, you go
there for everything, it's a super center you could spend hours there! It's cheep
and they know that castmembers shop there all the time, there really nice, which
you don't get very much down there. The only thing that sucks about it, is the bus takes forever, you could drive there and back twice before the bus gets you there once. So if you can scam a ride like i did ever time lol.. then TAKE IT! Even if you don't need anything you must need something

The Lan cable looks a lot like a phone cable the usb cables are a lot mroe expensive
then the lan cables.. but you need the same sorta thiny that sticks into the phone..im not sure whats it's called lol!

 

Yes I believe it is the one that looks like a phone cable!! I hope it is anyway otherwise ill be stuck

 

It looks almost exactly like a phone cable except that it is fatter. It is also called an ethernet cable. I've never heard of being able to connect to the internet through a USB cable so I wouldn't get one of those. But ya, think fat phone jack.
