have you spoken to your doctor daz? maybe he can suggest something? maybe try ringing a couple of the companies up?
Did anyone get their insurance via Direct Travel Insurance. They seem a little cheaper than Insure & Go plus i can also get a lovely 14% back via Quidco
Mrah I don't like all this insurance malarky. Its much less fun than shopping for flights. Or shoes. Or milk even.
haha or nice headphones in the shape of flowers ive found some insurance with Infinity or Direct-Travel its really hard picking one does anyone know what were supposed to have? like cover-wise?
Nope! I just spoke to a lovely lady from insure and go who thought my email address was clumsy_minga@......... I quickly used my phonetic alphabet skillz NOVEMBER - INDIA - NOVEMBER!!!!
The excess on things with Travel Direct is £100 and i don;t know whether that's good or bad. I want to go with them as they're the cheapest but want to make sure i have enough and the right cover
On insure and go's gold the excess is $0. I am phoning direct-travel tomorrow to get some quotes. I looked at their site and its loads cheaper to begin with, but I like to speak to the people so I get some definite figures.
We need to check that it covers all the requirements that Yummy says, there's a little list in our packs on the white sheet, i think it's near the bottom. It says like how much liabililty cover we need and stuff. It's totally boggling my mind at the mo, I think it may be a job for my dad lol ;D
the insurance policy thing is so confusing, ive been looking for months and still am as equally confused as i was when i started! and it really isnt fun, but i dont find flight searching fun either, its stressing me out too. cant wait till im there and theres no more searching for a year xxx
thanks! id pretty much given up on sta coz it was always ending up £100 more expensive than anything else but went and looked and found £368 so gonna chase that up
It changes all the time on STA.. The flight I'm on was guna cost £660 on the 13th or the 14th July...I'm going July 12th tho..
Yeah they seem to change in price weekly lol! Think I'm gonna go with insure and go for insurance once I have some medical stuff sorted out I phoned travel-direct who I got my holiday insurance with (and who were super cheap on their website) and they quoted me about £350 which is like £100 more than i&g. Plus, the woman was a moany bum! Gotta say I get annoyed being at work but I never take it out on my customers! If travel-direct had been £30/40 cheaper than i&g I would have still gone with i&g just for that... if that's what they're like to new customers, what must they be like if you try and claim anything - lol! I tried GO as well, but they could only cover for 365 days which wouldn't cover the month after Disney of traveling x
