hey disney people! this site is all new to me but so useful! i live in london anyway, heading home for that weekend, meeting up would be cool if people are going for drinks or stuff? obviously not too late - early start in the morning! read somewhere u were thinking of going tgi's - i'd recommend u get their rather early if theres a large group! so scared about the interview...whats everyone wearing!??!! i got a trouser suit - am presuming thats not too ott??? and the questions! ahhh!!
lol no it's not OTT - that's gonna be what pretty much everyone is wearing I would imagine. I wouldn't worry about the questions Obviously everyone is gonna be a bit nervous, but as far as I can see it's more of an informal chat with a few interview type questions thrown in hehe. Just smile ;D and be happy - you'll be fine
excellent! am looking forward to it really, means i get to miss a horrible tutorial! ha been readying the common questions. makes me wanna go tomorrow! dunno how the boyfriend would like that though!

Hey people... the bit on the application form that says can you submit verification of your legal right to work in the United States? What are we supposed to tick? and under what is the earliest/latest date available? are we supposed to put how long we can work there? are we supposed to put 12 months? and are we supposed to put a latest date? there is no latest date I could potentially go to work there.... Ellen- unless you have a valid visa for the US, tick No for that one. Also, leave the whole section containing the earliest-latest date blank-job preferences or whatever its called. They will help us fill it in on the day. I'm sure if you have filled it in it doesnt really matter, this is just what Jason told me when i emailed him all my questions!
Hey, When I first filled this application out back in Oct, I was unsure what to put for that part Ellen. I emailed Yummy who said if you have a valid passport you should tick yes as that is all you will have at this stage. Don't know if anything has changed since then tho. The letter that came with the application form says to leave the 'JOB PREFERENCES' section blank, does that mean to leave the whole 'job interests' section?? I can't see any part that says 'job preferences' ??? Helen x
The bit I left blank was 'Which programs are you interested in?'...that's what I thought was meant by 'Job Preferences' I guess I'll just leave the rest til the day....I'm sure they won't mind if we've just left a couple of bits blank cos we're unsure! Thanks for your help guys! Ellen xxx
Yeah, dont worry ellen, before you go in for your interview you get a bit of time with jason or alexis who'll go through your form with you and help you fill in any sections you havent done yet!! And as for the right to work in the us you have to say no as you dont have a visa yet! Good luck to all you guys!!! Michelle xx
Thanks Michelle...I didn't get the visa question, as I was thinking 'well, if I get a job, I should be able to get a visa'...but then I thought 'but I don't actually have one so what should I put!?' Thanks for your help! Ellen xxx
Im pretty sure when we got the info pack through about the interviews the info yummy sent us told us to tick no to that question? Although I could totally be making that up!!! This time next week youll be in London!!! the interviews have come round so quickly havent they!! Good luck xx
michelle - i emailed jason about that question cos i was confused! i would say 2 u all make sure u know definate earliest/latest dates if u have them that u can leave cos they do go on that and fill the little box in the top right hand corner out before u go in2 the individual interviews once u go through it with jason! they also put town/airport departure preference, so i would say make sure ur clear with things incase u get a job and the date they give u 2 leave u can't do! xxx
