IM GOING 23RD SEPTEMBER 2008 WHOOP WHOOP!!

I don't have a credit card so haven't booked my embassy appointment yet, i'm waiting for my sister to wake up (she's working nights) so she can book it with hers...she can do my housing assessment fee whith hers whilst she's at it! lol
I haven't changed any money over yet, I plan to do a bank transfer when i've set up my US account, but I don't know how much to take with me to start, I guess it's not too bad if I run out though because I can still get money out of my debit account out there, it'll just charge me for the exchange.
It's all getting abit real now! lol

Hey, booked my appointment and it's the same as you guys! The 4th at 8am, just have to book my train now, i'm going from Southampton. Got my photo's taken today, they're awful, you have to show your ears now! lol
Also have my passport renewal appointment for this coming Tuesday, should have that within a week, so all is good, up to now anyway! Yay!

 

Awesome glad it worked out then Elle! oh no i need to get pictures, so are we allowed to wear our hair down in the pictures, but just as long as its tucked behind the ears?
Hev i went with Insure and Go in the end, the backpackers Gold, it was £235 for the 13 months. thats a point does everyone know roughly how much they will be taking money wise? im not sure lol, probs just as much as i can scrape together!

My sister's picking up my new passport in four hours! Yay! The passport people blatantly lie... they told me I couldn't get the day renewal and i'd have to send it off for checking and my sister would have to show all sorts of ID and everything but she just phoned me and said she was in there for like, five minutes, he checked my form,ticked some boxes and said she could pick it up at 2! So yeah, they stressed me out for no reason.. but I don't care! Yay!

You know for our visa, do you have to fill in that form online? My internet's really bad here (except on this site for some reason) and I don't know if it'll cope with form filling! lol

 

ar great news!! All coming together now - yeah form is done online i need to do that but my mums put my passport away no idea where so ot toget that out incase we need info cant start half way through the not be able to complete it might bodge it up!!! xx 5 weeks today

 

NEWS FLASH - there are 9 flying from the uk on the 23rd according to michele!!where have these ppl be hinding out!!lol xx

Oooh, I wonder if they're on the same flight?? How sneaky of them! lol I'm sure we'll spot them at the airport if they are on the same flight (which I kind of assume they are purely because there weren't that many flight options if I remember correctly) they should be sporting their mickey stickers and tags! lol

 

lol do we still have to wear those seen as we aint getting picked up at the other end now lol. we should just go all out and dress up as characters! really make an appearance lol xx

u know u have to get a photo done for the visa, 5mm by 5mm ??? where on earth am i to find a photo that size, passport photo booths dont come out 5 by 5!

Is a passport photo not 5mm x 5mm??? I was just going to use one of the ones I got taken for my new passport. That's annoying. I might see if I can scan in my passport photo, resize it and print it out 5 x 5, i just hope the quality is good enough. Hopefully that'll work, it's a pain in the bum though!


Has anyone filled out the online embassy form? Can you fill it out and print it later? It's gonna be a good week or so before I can print it but i'd like to fill it in now to get it out of the way whilst I have good internet.
