If I Could Bring Back One Thing....

oh the body section... uyeah thats been closed for ages they should revamp it and bring it back

 

Is that still closed? I remember we went in there on my discovery day, it was closed then too. That's more than two years ago now...

 

You mean the Wonders of Life Pavilion? I heard it wasn't reopening again (it was open during 2006 at Christmas... it was so weird walking around it and seeing Cranium Command and going on Body Wars! The place was empty).

 

What about bringing back Mickey's hand and wand to the Epcot ball... it looked so much better before (personal opinion, not stated fact)

 

Oh yeah, definitely! I got so used to it being there when I worked there, and then I went on vacation and it was gone :'(

 

I agree, it looks weird without it, but now Epcot is old school! Just how it should be. The wand was fine for the Millenium, but then it should have come down. It's kinda like the wand is now the emblem for Epcot and not Spaceship Earth!, but of course it's not lol.

 

But now it looks so naked... It would be like trimming the branches on The Tree of Life

 

I'm with you Louisa - I am so happy that Space Ship Earth is back to normal - they kept the wand a bit too long after the Millenium in my opinion.

 

I miss the wand. I remember seeing photos of it all broken up and lying in bits when they took it down :'(

 

It was kinda funny for me- never saw the wand fully in place. They were putting it up during my first trip, and taking it down when I was there in august...

p.s-- is the tapestry of dreams parade at epcot gone now?? There was no parade when I was on vacation there this past summer, and I loved that parade my first night of my first trip to disney...

 

Yes it's gone! There's no parades there now, and I don't think it will be either. It's not much space to have parades and people don't get around the park easily... But I wish it was though, because I've never seen it :-[

 

ok i had quite a wierd one, but i thought why not walt himself, let him see the parks now, and what he would think of them... and the whole disney company for that matter

 

I totally agree.
The Disney Company today does not live up to Walt's standards.
If he came back, he would definately stear the company in a much better direction.

What about "the nine old men" , or even Ub Iwerks
