ICP Interview, L/pool 19th Nov

Yey Claire it may happen after all!! It would be so much fun to finally meet in Disney World. Fingers crossed!!

 

i believe 9im at the same one not 100% but its on vernon street next thing to do is to make sure i know where im going lol

 

Yes I think we are in the same one, I just checked the map and mine is also on Vernon Street. It is just off Dale Street which is where I must have got confused. Hatton Gardens looks really close to the hotel and Lime Street. It is just two streets away from the Gardens and then I think the station is just beyond that. We should meet up that evening when we are both settled in and such.

 

I'll be there on the 19th. Going up the day before (taking about 5 hours!) Staying in some apartment complex that looks quite close to the uni on the map. Oooooh two weeks to go!!!

 

I'm going on the 20th. got a room at the travelodge literally 2 mins away for £29

If it's in lecture room G.O1 (john foster building) then it's about a 15 minute walk from Lime street train station. If you exit Lime street at the rear (where the virgin trains are located), cross the road at the traffic lights so that you are heading towards the city centre (where st Johns arcade is.) opposite st johns arcade, there is a street full of taxis and has a Mcdonalds, KFC, few pubs e.t.c. Walk along that street and cross the road where Mcdonalds is, take a left and keep walking and turn right where the Lewis shop thing is. Cross the traffic lights there and basically just keep walking uphill and you will get to the john foster building, you can't miss it, it's opposite the huge white catholic cathedral.

I'm all ready and leaving in an hour 20mins to get to train station.

 

Damn, I am just going through my paper work for tomorrow and I have noticed that the accreditation letter (which my uni did as a form) insn't accrediting the university bt the fact that I go to the university. Do you think they will still acknowledge it. I am so worried about it now, they had better accept it and i hope it doesn't harm my chances. Maybe I can send them a copy of the letter

so how did everone think they did now we play the horrible waiting game... what roles did everyone go for what time was your interview and what did you think of the presentation?

 

I think mine went ok a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I had Jeff and was more of a chat than anything else. He was really nice. I went for Merch and Custodial and my interview was meant to be at 11:40 but it was earlier than that cos of the presentation. I think it ended up being at around 11. I have to get another accreditation letter though the Dutch woman didn't like it. Where you there when she thought that Skrek was a Disney character?
