I got my phone interview!!

I think in about 6months or when ever the applications open again Sucks! :'(

 

I had my telephone yesterday, I was extremely nervous and spent the whole conversation walking around and around a small patch of grass... i am suprised there is even any grass left!!!!!

I have my fingers (&toes) crossed that it went ok.... even when I totally embarrassed myself on the phone!!!

I hope everyone elses phone interviews are...well...umm... magical? Anddd I hope to see you all at somepoint soon!xxx

For those of you that're having your phone interviews... any chance of hints on what sort of questions they ask?! Or should we perhaps wait until after everyone's had them before answering?

As for you all that want to know the questions, dont bother because they already know that thats what your looking for. When people write down here what they were asked, i skipped it because I dont want to prepare for something that isnt supposed to be prepared for. They told me, from the horses mouth, that they didnt want me to share the questions because they want honesty and they want to get an idea of who YOU are. They can tell when you have prepared something and they said "thats not the disney way". You applied for disney, so you know why you wanna work there. all the questions are common sense and are just asked to get a better sense of who you are. Nobody should stress about it! breathe everybdoy!

I have my phone interview today and i'm soooo scared, i just hope i don't say anything stupid. Well once it's over i can stop stressing i suppose. How long after your phone interview do you find out if you are through to the next stage?

Mine is 1:45 ohhhh gosh im soo nervous. I don't know what to say when they ask me about what we would tell people about the British culture. I'm having a blank

 

Try not to think about it. You'll do great. Its the silly questions that are gonna bother me like: "Tell me a bit about yourself?" or "Why Disney" :-[

Oh well, not long now. Less than 30min.

It is not as bad as i thought, the whole thing is really relaxed no preparation needed ;D

My friend applied just over a week ago and hasn't heard anything back, is their a chance she will still get an interview?

I had my interview too. It was really good, and really relaxed. Can't believe that from that call they need to make a decision about who's through to the next stage.

i know eh? this one telephone call, even though it was relaxed, plays a huge part on whether or not you get an f2f. jeez, how do you decide?? its crazy

 

I know, i mean i thought my answers were ok and some were quite good but its still wired they must have a checklist of things they want us to say hahahaha (j/k)
They probably just want to see what type of people we come across as, and see if we would be a good choice.
If i don't get a F2F i know i tried my best, i gave honest answers and thats better than me making notes and reading them off.

I'm just worried about my friend, she hasn't got an interview yet but she really wants this and i would feel really bad because i got one im crossing my fingers that she gets one

The phone interviews were so much more relaxed than I thought they ever would be!! To be honest it just felt like chatting to a friend about why Disney would be so good

Prob when they've gotten though the first set of applicants they'll start sending out emails to the next lot so I wouln't worry about your friend just yet!
