Don't be sorry, silly I think we're all going crazy to be honest! haha! The good thing about working at McDonald's you can leave for a year and they'll probably still take you on after. Like people who have uni, they can leave for months and come back for a few weeks. Your lucky dad Is this the first time you've applied?
thx jam all the best to you girls! i tried to zip my mouth too, but failed. i got too excited after getting invitation to F2F interview, and told all my close friends about it. it's happy to share with them, but some part of me fears what if things don't turn out... :-[ i'm not telling my mum and dad until i get an offer. unlike megan and jam's parents, they never want me to leave home for more than a week... i understand that they love me so much, but i really wanna make this on my own. 8) megan, i'm applying from Hong Kong, so the recruitment schedule is different. i sent my cv on jan26 and 2 days later was told to attend F2F interview on mar12. exactly, epiphany!! i thought about telling a co-worker, but didn't do it afterall. :-X
Oh my days, how lucky are you! Not THAT much waiting then, unlike all of us UK lot who are literally bouncing off the walls Really hope you get a place
Yeah its the first time i have applied, i nearly applied back in 2006 but i knew i wasnt ready for it now i feel like its the right time for me! I know a few people who have done the program before and i want to do it so bad hehe! I like my job here but there is nowhere for me to get promoted so its the perfect time for a year out and disney would be amazing!! Have you applied before?
And now i'm going to butt in as well haha. But i'm so glad other people can't shut up about it either. Whenever i'm with anyone that knows i've applied i've really got to bite my tongue to blurt out some Disney fact every two minutes lol. Although when i'm with my boyfriend and there's a quite moment i always pipe up with 'Do you know what would be really cool? If i lived in Florida and worked for Disney.' He just tells me to shush now lol. I think my family will just kick me out if i do get anywhere i'd be awful to live with
first time roud i didnt tell anyone about it even when i had the job offer i didnt actually believe it - then i told my mum in secret who told my sisters who tol;d my neices and nephew who then blurted it out to my best mate who was mad at me for not telling her to begin with but i think my 200 days til disney 199 days til disney 198 days to disney count down grated on her after a while - cant imagine why tho
I told everyoneI lived by that I applied for it xD But I'm overly confident with most things "Sure I will get into this college" (rejection) Eh I have other options, look at this Sure I will work for this hotel =D (rejection) I have other options, Look =D I'm so going to get this job (gets in) Yeaaa I told you so 8) Now its "Sure I'll get into disney" And they're like.. Heard this before xD Not told anyone in Butlins though. Incase my boss gets funny bout it =/
I told my assistant manager first before anyone else...but thats because we are such good friends anyway, then I told my manager and he wished me the best of luck I just dont want to jinx myself either by telling too many people. I've done it in the past with job applications and failed and its so humiliating And PinkSpiderUk I did a countdown like that last year when I was going to Florida on holiday and did everyone's nut in Couldnt help being over excited though because our holiday got delayed due to that volcano :/ x
I hate not being able to talk about it so sometimes i just talk about Florida and Disney in general even though no one at work even cares haha! I have a WDW pen at work and everytime i pick it up i get a bit giddy lol! My friend and i are looking at going on holiday to florida at some point this year depending on my application i cant wait!
I know how you feel about wanting to blab on about Disney all the time.....my car is pimped out with Disney stuff, got the aerial topper, the dice, the Mickey Mouse and Stitch teddies in the back I'm such a big kid
everyoe is used to me talking disney now - im like when i was at disney this happened and did u know that in disney they do it this way and etc... everyone is used to it and if i dont get in thsi time round well i will just grab a last minute flight and join my family out there for a holiday totally OTT but talking of cars i just passed my driving test today im super excited my mum has put me on her car insurance for the time being as i dont want to buy a car in case i get thru to disney but still want to be able to drive
Omg thats so good! Well done! I remember when i passed my test i was so excited too all i wanted to do was drive places haha!
Congrats on passing your driving test I dont know how I would cope without my car, and obviously in Florida you have to rely on buses a lot if your doing CRP :/ My cute little Mini will have to have a break for a year (if I get in of course) x
So jealous of all of you that can drive haha! Congrats to pinkspider though! ;D I know this is a completely random question and no one will probably have any idea AND I don't even know if I'll get a place or whatever but, does anyone have any idea what insurance company I could go with if I've already been diagnosed with an illness.. if you get what I mean
I know what you mean about the insurance thing....my dad has the same problem when looking for insurance. Unfortunately I dont know of any companies off hand that would cover you but there must be some out there that would
Ahh, it's rubbish I was looking last night, but I can't find out anywhere. I shouldn't even be looking anyway until I know for deffo, but I just can't help it :! Sure Yummy would help me anyway :-X haha!
I'm guessing it might be slightly more expensive as well if you've got an underlying illness :/ Yeah I'm sure Yummy would help you out, from what I have read on here they seem to be really helpful with everything x
Im sure you would be able to find some it could just be more expensive but it would be worth it to get to Disney ;D Like you said im sure Yummy would help, they have probs dealt with things like that many a times hehe! The buses arent too bad out there, my friend and i survived 3 weeks of getting around on them and it was fine just a bit sweaty at times haha!
I have nothing against public transport, I'm just so used to going wherever I want at any time But because its for Disney then I'm gonna have to put up with it hehe
It was my bf who reminded me about the insurance thing.. I was like oh bugger yeah it's normally like £300 odd anyway! nevermind, well worth it I suppose that's a good thing that I don't drive yet and have to rely on buses everyday. Not in the habit of just hopping in the car and going anywhere I want x
