not really expensive to travel at all i paid approx $150 for 3 days in miami - a bunch fo us re ted a car and drove down and stayed at a hostel on south beach was awesome. if you dont want to drive u can greyhound it there for around $55 round trip - it takes about 4 hours to drive or if u bus it around 6 hours vegas - staying in the excalibur on the strip and including flights for 5 days was around $500 niagara falls flights to bufallo, 3 nights at hotel on the canada side of the falls plus bus from the us to canadian side was around $250 you make aroud $150 a week - u save for 6 weeks just $50 a week and you have enough for a trip most people do a final trip - basically cos u dot get ur money back for flights and stuff til last minute most of people pay for their flights 3/4 months before their contract ends - that leaves them with a final pay check of around $800 -1000 which is plenty for a final trip. internal flights can cost as little as $100 return. hotel rooms are by room not by umber of people in them - so if there is a couple of you its even cheaper
completely off subject, but anyone got any ideas about what i can do to stop me from going completely crazy with this wait til april? i've even resorted to looking on the disney store website... i even keep reading my cv over again and just hoping that it's everything they want. safe to say i'm slowly going crazy, hahaha! xo
go on youtube and search for disney crp and have a look at the accomodation and photos / vids from people who have been or who are there right now or make something stupidly disney geeky like decorating a suitcase with astencils and stuff then even if u dont get out there u still have a funky lil case
Wow it does seem pretty cheap to travel around after CRP ends There are so many places I would want to try and fit in before going home though And on the subject of going crazy waiting for a reply in April.....I've been on youtube and watched some vlogs people have posted and they are really helpful. There is one girl who has posted (cant remember her name) and she covers the questions that she got asked at the phone interview and how she prepared for it There are quite a few vids of people giving little tours around the accommodation, and pictures of them working in Epcot xx
oh yeaaah forgot about the youtube thing. ahh that'll keep me occupied for a while! as for the suitcase & stencils, i don't have either so suitcase is the one thing i've been looking for aswell. i am gonna be SO gutted if i don't get in, especially as when i'm 21 i want to work on disney cruises! but if i do find any good vids i'll post them on here so other people can have a look too xo
I've got a whole week of work....got to try and keep myself occupied or I'll be going Disney crazy Already been on youtube this morning watching vids x
i can't find any up to date youtubers found two good blogs though: http://themousekateer.blogspot.com/ http://crunkvoodooplaymates.tumblr.com/ both not up to date, but i'm sure they're very busy xo
I've just found a hug list of blogs that someone has posted on here. Its in the Accepted/Current CRP Participants section, and its about half way down the page x
It definitely helped prepare for the interview questions....been going over and over it today :/ When did you apply doddi92? x
the only question i'll seriously be stuck on is about the UK or my home city.. the UK is boring as hell and theres nothing to do in Norwich.. haha nothing especially 'cultural' anyway. xo
I'm finding it hard to come up with an answer for that one....North Wales hasnt really got much going for it either :/ I've had to use google to try and come up with some ideas lol x
you're friends with Georgie aren't you? both of you literally live down the road! small world eh! June 2012? did you? lmao. i'm not even sure what to say about Norwich or whatever? theres a castle.. and Delia Smith & Stephen Fry live/come from here? hahaha! deary me xo
