Ooooh Michelle you're from Preston?! Me too! ;D I think we got the North West contingent going on here lol.
Cool i didnt realise there was anyone close to Blackpool that was applying and now i know of 2 people just down the road
I know it's awesome stuff! I already applied over summer and I'm sat on the waitlist ... But, if I do get the news it's going to be either October or November this year anyway so I guess I'd still see all you guys out there Wish you all the luck for all your applications though not long to wait now
i'm glad there is a few more northerners! seemed to be mostly people from down south! i live near Liverpool! x
I'm from North Wales.....haven't read about anyone else from this area who has applied (apart from my cousin who is doing the Summer Program this year) x
on my original programme there was only 4 welshies for age (thats across f&b and merch!!!)s majority of people were northern ireish or scots then suddenly loads of welshies and english people came it fluctuates i think
I'm from Wales (but the South, which is far less 'Welsh' than the North, I've always thought) originally. But I've lived in England for university for the past 4 years (well, excluding the 9 months I lived in Colorado), and I don't have much of an accent, so I'm not sure if I'd be counted as a Welsh or English person when (WHEN) I go out there!
Depends which part of North Wales you come from, I'm not very welshy (dont have the accent or speak the language for that matter ??? ooops) I always thought people from South Wales have more of an accent lol x
maybe if they are from the valleys they do but being a cardiff girl who spent 2 years ins cotland, 9 months in germany and a year in the usa i dont think i have one
That would explain it then lol Do you speak welsh? Loving fact you've travelled quite a bit, always wanted to get out of North Wales.....there is NOTHING to do here x
Haha, I don't know, but English people always call Cardiff the 'English' part of Wales. And the fact that you have signs in Welsh first up there automatically makes you more Welsh in my eyes
Haha I didnt know that about the signs, and I've never been down to any part of South Wales. In the past when I've been to Florida, it makes me laugh when people ask if you are from England and you say no Wales and they havent got a clue where it is or that it even exists Have you done the CRP before? x
yup the sigsn thing is so true in south its in english first welsh second in north irts welsh first and english second - people usually think im english at first until i get hyper or pissed then i go proper welshy I have travelled a huge amount - as well as the places i have lived i have also spent 6 weeks backpacking round europe (france, belgium, germany, spain and italy), been to india, egypt, malta, spain, holland, norway, canada, greeze, tunisia, turkey, morocco and i am trying to think where else lol i have a travel bug when i was 17 i bought myself a ticket to nashville to meet some people i had met off the net - my mum about had a fit when i told her i was going to america for 4 weeks on my own but it was awesome even if i did have to go as cheap as possible (being a poor student working at asda on a till and all) ended up going cardiff to london; london to paris; paris to atlanat and finally arrived in nashville and had to get a greyhound out to the sticks where my friend lived only took me 2 days to get there and back
Wow that takes some guts to travel to the US on your own at 17 to meet people off the net.....fair do's to ya I love going abroad its just the travel sickness that gets me :/ kinda sucks....but if there is sunshine then I'm there haha. LOVE America.....especially Florida, would love to travel around there a bit though, maybe to California and New York So my plan is to SAVE SAVE SAVE all the money I can x
That's where i'm currently saving for (well that and all the expenses if i get through all this waiting haha). And Washington DC just so i can wander round the Smithsonian .
I haven't done the CRP, but I lived in Colorado for an academic year last year. I had so many times when people would say to me, "Are you from ENGLAND?" "No, I'm from Wales." "Where's that?" "It's a country to the left of England." "Is it near London?" Cue my friends attempting to hold me back from strangling said person
Liverpool REPRESENT!!! I'm living in Newcastle at the moment doing my final year at uni. I've recently just got a job at Hollister and have added that to my CV now. I hope Yummy see my new updated CV rather than my previous upload. Little bit nervous if I'm being honest but yes, hurry up April!!!
