You can't request a one/two bedroom appt, its just luck of the day I'm afraid! But I think the bigger apartments have their advantages, too!

The three week wait thing is a bit of a grey area... some people have walked into an apartment and just refused outright to live there, and one of my arrival group friends moved out after a few days in hers because it was so bad.

Don't be worried, though, most apartments are fine. I mean, you will have your problems, but that's just normal and what comes out of 2+ people sharing a space at all times. I thought I wouldn't cope too well with sharing a room, but (touch wood) I've had no problems getting used to sharing my personal space with somebody else. Part of the experience is getting over/embracing cultural differences etc., and if you have any real problems the housing management seem very helpful in trying to help you resolve issues :)

Floflo - I look forward to meeting you! I'm in the UK bit, where will you be?

Jonbob - You'll be surprised just how much time off you get! I mean, during the holiday seasons I'm sure this'll change, but at the moment we're in the middle of the Food & Wine festival, and all the UK non-tipped are still getting 5 day weeks and no more than 10.5 hour shifts (usually around 6-8 hour). If you are on seating you get the chance to go home early most days as well if you like, and the other jobs if they are overstaffed. Some servers/bartenders are doing 6 day weeks, and they get longer days, but others are doing 5 days! And there is no such thing as too late here, so its not like your evening is gone if you are on til close - most nights out don't start til 11.30!

:) these prices don't sound too bad to me.....I just want to live there now I'd pay more and what I'm thinking is that if I'm working there then at least I am getting in free and I will be the happiest person in the world!!! :)

I would try browsing the other forums (try the 'search' bar). You'll find more info there. You're in a thread about accom so that's not the most helpful place to find such info :p

Since you're working F&B, I'd advise you to have a lookie at this blog:
    http://www.freewebs.com/disneygibbs/

She worked on an inside place, but it's still QS F&B! :)
