$4 for a can of lynx aint too bad cause its about £2.50 here isnt it?
Although i go through soooo much of it.
And i use either loreal remix in my hair, or tigi bed head.
Im not so bad cause I'm only goin for 3 months hehe.

Although my big concern was how much cash will i need to take with me for 3 months? I wanna do a bit of shopping while I'm there as well.

In regards to cash, my parents are transferring me around $150 per week while I'm there, which, if I don't dip into it, I'll hopefully have around $3,000 to see me some America at the end of it.

Although don't take big supplies of brand-name stuff (like if you use something like Clinique moisturiser)- most of that costs the same in dollars as it does in pounds, so much better to stock up while you're there!!

i've done this before so I learned from the last time I went away for a year! I'm taking what I know I need for a few days, as well as my more summery clothes and a few long sleeve things for the colder months, but only a few of each thing from my wardrobe! Plus I'll have my laptop with me and so I'm not taking any cds for music as I'll just have everything I want loaded up.

I will take a few cds with me that have films on though, or the odd dvd out of it's case if it's a movie I know I'll watch ten times or more out there!

Apart from that, I'm lucky as my parents wil be out there a lot and living out there so I don't have to worry about buying too much as it can all go home bit by bit like I did last time too!

I am bringing a lot of clothes. I was really unimpressed with the going out clothes i could find in Orlando. With the exception of Forever 21, I found the styles in the shops really naff and outdated. Things like jeans and shorts and jumpers ill probably buy when I get there though and same with toiletries, bedding etc

The only thing I'm definately bringing over is my make up. I don't think I could actually afford to replace all my stuff over there...and the makeup isn't that much cheaper.

I know but I have really funny skin. I can only use stuff like Clinique/Smashbox/Mac etc or I have a really bad reaction... :-\

Clinque's a lot cheaper, or at least it was for cleanser/moisturiser/etc the last time I was over.

I'm seeing if I can hold out on the make-up/jeans front until I get over! American Eagle and Maybelline counters here I come!!!

Really? I love Charlotte Russe. I'd swear by that shop. But yeah, most of the shops are more for relaxed cothing like pac sun, old navy etc...

With the weather in Orlando you wont use that much make up, it will melt. And suntan is the best make up ever!

    RUBEN!

Yeah but i'll probably use a little moisturiser. Skin products are something I have to be wary of too but then I've looked on the Clinique website and the stuff is practically the same in $ as it is in £.

The thing is that in lotions and make up they have a lot of promotions and sometimes u'll find gift-boxes with incredible discounts.

I'm kind of a compulsive buyer, so I'll need to relax first before going to a mall or outlet... ehehe

Try going into Mickey's Philharmagic and when Flounder from the Little Mermaid pops up, you hear the guy behind you tell his kid Look it's Nemo!
