I used to like Iced Tea until I went to the states once. In Canada it's sweetened, in the US it's just cold tea.

To this day I still can't stand Iced tea anymore...

I've actually only had tea once (and this thread reminded me of it). My ex made me a cup and it wasn't half bad (no clue what brand or anything), but it wasn't long after that she ruined a long friendship and a relationship and the fact that I didn't mind tea got lost somewhere in the shuffle lol I'll have to try to figure out what I like sometime me thinks.

  2. aww Jorden I ONLY like the American Iced Tea lol, or here I always buy the unsweetened kind. Or make homemade tea and put ice in it :p

If (when) you get to Florida I'll make sure you try some good british teas, they're amazing.
A nice cuppa really does heal the mind, body and spirit

Sounds good! I do enjoy the occasional hot drink although I'm not a coffee person. I'll take Hot Chocolate, or Apple Cider (I buy the powdered kind at costco), and like I said I didn't mind my one cup about a year and a half ago.

I can't remember what kind it was, but at some point after I had unsweetened Iced Tea there was one type I liked. I'm pretty sure it was Lipton... maybe Lipton Original? I know it was in the pre-Brisk days and I was probably in Elementary school at the time.

lol I just had another iced tea memory... I spent 2 weeks in Japan in 2000 staying in a private residence (it was part of an exchange, we took some Japanese bosy for 2 weeks, then I got to go there for two weeks). Every meal they had Iced Tea ready to go on the table, after a couple days of drinking it (and the custom is to leave some in your glass, if you empty it, you're saying you want more), I happened to have some Coca Cola left when it was supper time and I drank that with my meal... I think they actually bought Coke for me the next day... Sorry for the rambel lol just a bit of remoniscing. I got to go to Tokyo Disney that vacation though which was pretty cool.

icetea is also a nice alternative, but the atficial sugar isnt comparable to a fresh ea with a bit of honey :)

This thread has gone slightly off course but hey :D

I dont like Tea...or coffee but i love liptons icetea!

I think it'll be good if all the people arrive in the apartment on the same day then we are all in the same boat and probably wont know anyone else.

Exactly... I really hope everyone in my apartment arrives the same day as me.

That way, everyone would get the same experience and would be able to help each other out because they'd know exactly what the others are going through-as opposed to working of memories and stuff which might be distorted...

Plus, it'd be harder to be put into a group that had already made friendships and stuff than to be put into one where no one knew anyone else at that time...

Oooooh sounds like fun! That way you get to eat other culture's food, eh? Too bad I'm allergic to just about everything and will probably be living the year of water and rice.
