How do they decide who your roomates will be

    As far as I can see, they don't worry about mixing the people they put in to Vista as much. Probably because the ratio of foreign people vs Americans is pretty small.

    I dont want to have british flatmates really(dont mind i love the brits obviously
    )but i want to meet as many different people and learn so much about other cultures especially like chinese,german and thats part of the excitment!!!!:)

    what impression do you have from German ppl in Britain :)? They watch much american series and a few love the brithish humour. The different cultures are of couse an interesting point , but i think british ppl drink more tea :D

    to be honest i cant actually tell the differences...
    personally im a Typhoo man but thats only cos that what tea bags r usually inhabiting my cuboards... i actually tried a green herbal tea the other day (sum stuff me mum had) and that was fit.. not quite the same though... cud do with a brew now actually...

    american tea is bizarre... hadf it the other week for te 1st time and i wasnt a fan at all....wo no

    hmmmmm just made a cup of p.g to be honest i couldnt tell the difference between them either although i dont like shop ones like tesco's own and stuff no thats wrong lol

    why is it called p.g?isnt it a normal bag, or is it a better quality? there must be a reason fro giving such an amusingly term

    actually havent a clue whu there called PG...

    you are right there... tesco's own, whilst cheap definitly lack taste... ots worth the strife of an extra 60p just for the experience hahah ;D

    wow, thanks for all the trouble i owe you at least a research for an nutrition question ;D.. found no pictures from the content of such an pg tip box, but after my last trip to the uk i could assume these are tea pads.. could that be right?

    edit: sry for my blindness, i fount a picture on the linked website, so know i know at least that they dont look like the one we got in Germany, thanks for the link and sory again for my unabilty to open my own eyes :)

    but its interesting as we all each of us indivually have an idea of another culture untill you meet the people of that culture, it amazing you can learn so much from meeting new people from different cultures ;D

    P.S PG tea rules or Earl Grey LOL :D
     
  20. I am drinking PG tips RIGHT NOW!!! It rocks my socks :)

    In canada our tea isn't toooo too bad but the US tea is horrible! Most little places don't even know how to MAKE tea! arg!
    We get all our teas at the local british import shop, they also have some irish teas, it's a great place.
