Haha, that's good :p But security tends to be nicer if you're celebrating your national day! We had a really noisy parade through the Commons on ours :p

You cant have people over after 1am, wherever they are from. But the security are crap, so I wouldnt worry too much. As long as theyre signed in before 9pm they can stay as long as they like!

Well, you can let people stay, but you'll be in for a lot of trouble if they find out! I wouldn't risk it!

Doubtful they would ever find out.

There's always the risk! Someone who doesn't like you might tell...

Yup, that's why it's not a good idea to risk it! Think about it, what is more important, to have that one person there after 1am or to keep your job? If you got to do something with people from other complexes, it's best to do it outside of the complexes ;)

I've got parties shut down too, but that was only because our roommate didn't tell the rest of us in good time and it was a throw out! I had huge traffic through my bedroom when I was trying to sleep and had to get up so early in the morning to work.

When you share apartments with someone you've got to ask if they're okay if you're having a party...

There was traffic through your bedroom?? Lol.

Look, the rules are there and blah blah, just dont fret over having someone over past 1am.

Yes because they came in to use my bathroom... That's a big part of the reason why I decided to go to security. Because I had to lock out my roomie to keep people out.

Security was very nice about it, and did what they could so people wouldn't know I was the one who told them...

as long as your are from the same complex you can have people partying in your appartment way after 1:00 am. But if you live at Vista for example friends from commons or chatham need to leave before 1 am. Thats why people from different complexes dont really spend time together....you mostly have friends from your complex.

I called security on my housemates once.... They came in at 3am and made a hell of a racket with friends from another apartment...like turning the TV up and stuff.... two of us had to be at work for 7am...

But you went out and asked them to be quiet first, right? It used to annoy me soo much when people would call security without facing the problem first.

In my case, I'd already told them that it wasn't okay to have the party, and I wasn't the only one who thought that...

We went out there quite a few times to tell them to quieten down... I was literally in tears because I was so tired and just couldn't take it anymore. I called security and they said as it was after 11pm they couldn't do anything unless they heard the noise as they drove past. One of my housemates opened the door as they drove past and security moved them on. It was about 4.30am by this point! I was so angry the next day. And I don't get angry LOL

Seriously? Wow, that's crazy. I didn't have the chance of using the phone to call them since it was in the middle where the party was, so I walked over to them.

But I've been to a party that was termed before midnight, so that sounds a bit strange. Then again, I've heard a lot of strange stuff about security too :p
