They filmed bits of the movie in plymouth, alan rickman is the caterpillar, bit of brilliant casting that is.

according the google map The Mad Hatter hotel is a half a mile up the road from the restaurant. I'm taking the name as a sign and booking it. Wherever everyone stays if we keep in contact to find a restaurant easy for everyone to get to for a few drinks.

Well I study in west London (Brunel?) so will be tubing it on the Wednesday morning me thinks.
A meal sounds a great idea! Good to see a good mix of different people applying for the program.
I am happy to answer any questions about working for the mouse and living in Florida.
Can't believe how quickly this discussion has filled up :) but good to see I am not the only one so excited!

Mad Hatter looks quite a cool place! Is everybody going to book their own rooms or you think itll be better to "buddy up" and share a room with two beds to make it cheaper?

Alan Rickman that is amazing! Anything with Tim Burton i will love but the casting in this added to the story itself is gonna make quite an awesome/screwed up film!

If the interviews are like previous occasions the last interviews may be around 6:30pm. They should try and organise it so those from furthest away have their interviews first, and those local to London have their interview last. If you've booked a train ticket for a particular time near to then, then you'll probably be able to talk to them about rescheduling an earlier interview on the day.

Oh my God! So many people on here for April 1st! I'm on April 1st, too. I don't know whether to stay up there over night or travel in on the da (I'm from Gravesend in Kent). Just last time I did that (on the interview I didn't get through) I ended up getting in late as the trains were up the creek. But that was in Hammersmith - this time it's near Waterloo so it's on my route into London, anyway - muuuch nearer! I will probably stay overnight, anyway. Yay! I'm sooooo excited!! ;D

I'll be coming from Hastings, E.Sussex but I'll stay overnight. I think I'm gonna have to choose a cheaper hotel a little further away from Chez Gerard, cos I'm very very poor and I'll need to buy a tube ticket anyway!

I went on cheaphotels.co.uk or something like that and they can do a twin room for £30 a night. I'd just have to get the tube from Victoria to Waterloo. That's my thoughts at the mo.

Possible meal locations? We went to TGI Friday last time....

I could do with getting a cheap-ish place too but I definately have to be able to walk to Chez Gerard in the morning, I'm not having anything go wrong itd be just my luck.so I'd rather pay a little extra for the convenience.TGI's sounds good but were the interviews not in Hammersmith last time?

They were indeed. At the Disney HQ. We went to the Covent Garden TGIs and met there. That's just a possibility, any other ideas? :)

Yeah, I know when I went up to London for the last ones, they had a 'fatality' on the train line and then someone pulled the emergency alarm on the tube - very stressful!!

Oh god I would totally freak if I was on the way to my interview and that happened! Its worth the extra money for the peace of mind ;)

Ahh I don't even know what I'd do if I got the job!I'd probably just pass out lol

  17. We should do like the cheapest option lol, like a china buffet king for the meal lol.

I cant wait to meet all u guys, gonna be fun hanging with folk equally excited to get this.

yeeah the meal doesnt have to be too plush! id settle for a burger king haha! (we have none in either southport or preston, a depressing tale!) but if theres a tgis around there always fun places to eat!

I dont mind having to get the tube in the morning, , though id rather my experience be not quite as nerveracking as Vickis! that must have been horrible!!
It would be a lot nicer however if we could stay in the vicinity of the place, a nice walk there will be much better to settle the nerves than having to worry about public transport!

Im so excited!! I couldnt sleep last night, I went to bed soo tired then as soon as disney came into my head I couldnt get rid of it!

  19. As it goes i am usually in the same position as you arron, but im not going to lie to you, I was out for the count last night.
I cant believe how soon the interviews are, only a month away. It hardly gives me remotely enough time to sort my head out.
