I just heard the graduate program has been cancelled!! So im really hoping this global economic thing doesnt affect our program!! It shouldnt do. . because the UK pavilion is always going to need staffing.. fingers crossed!

 

Yea unless they close the actual pavalion down then they will always need the same amount of staff the run the joint.

 

Not quite true e.g. they could run the restaurant at 75% capacity if there wasn't the demand and use less servers etc but generally speaking the CRP should be okay. It seems the graduate program was cancelled due to the University of Central Florida pulling the course, rather than Disney reducing staff though.

 

Yea as i typed my last comment i thought of that, but couldnt be bummed wirting it. But im sure u know as i do, that the showcase is one of the most popular things in disney. Its always ram packed. In fact there weren't enough staff at most times.

 

Mmm the pizza hut across the road just brought us free pizzas for giving them change. Yum! I finish in half an hour too. Woop friday night!

 

Hey guys! Not been on for a while, dam this uni work! Thats crazy about the grad program i had thought about doing that but i'm poor so couldn't afford it :-[ Hope everyone is well, not long until TGI's and the interviews! Listening to Disney tracks as I type, awesome!

 

Thanks Adam, yeah Paris was awesome, given me the travel bug all over again!!!

I'm also slogging away on my dissertation - in fact going to the interviews will be a well earnt rest!!

mothers day weekend is painful i've lost count of the amount of meals i served today. So how is everyone, got your glad rags sorted?

 

Just gotta brush the dust off them haha. Just a couple minor things to sort out and I'm set. Woop!

 

Ive basically packed my bags and everything. I have all my photo copies from the last time i went! LOL!

 

newport tommorow for a new passport, fun times.

I'm a little worried for london now i've got a nasty gash on the bottom of my foot which i'm praying will be healed by next week.

 

I came home for mothers day so while im here im getting all my documents sorted! most things i still have from last time im just going to get my birth certificate reprint tomorrow, pick up a good suit from my brother then im all set

Steph where do you work? because pizza hut vastly overestimated mothers day I had like 5 tables all day haha. not that I complained!

I think I have just one thing to do before London and that is get a decent haircut! need the mess that it is at the moment sorting out!

 

I work for an independant restaurant and hotel its situated on plymouth harbour so in summer it goes crazy i didn't stop moving yesterday on the bright side it only took 10 minutes in newport to get my passport sorted.

You could get I love mickey shaved into the back of your head

 

Or 'pick me' haha. I'm off for a fresh cut on thursday, its gotten stupidly long as I had to wait til just before London lol. I'm looking forward to meeting everybody

ok...who knows there way around london? lol whats the easiest way to get from gatwick to the wellington? any suggestions guys? ??? a week tomorrow, ;D so excited to meet everyone!

 

Not sure where abouts the wellington is but I'm pretty sure there's a Gatwick Express train that goes into London, check out the Gatwick website.
