Aaaaah! Reading all these posts that talk about throw-in is making me worry, and here's why: it sounds like loads of fun, but when does it happen? My travel date is March 29th, but my flight won't get to Orlando until like 10:30 p.m. and one of the Cast-a-way people mentioned maybe staying in a hotel instead of going to the Commons that night. So does all the fun happen the night you arrive, or the night before your training starts, or some other night altogether? I don't want to miss out!!

    Hey Ashley!

Awww, I miss Jess. I threw it down to her cause she was the only other one dating a UK boy. It had been a trend with the two before me and then me too. Keep the tradition alive. Is the ring still on the shirt?

Sheena - I lived in Ottawa for awhile and got a kick out of how Keiths was often one of the pricier beers to get on tap! I'm from PEI and, for example, Keiths is THE cheap beer on our campus (UPEI).

Honestly though, I have to say I prefer Rickards Red. Started drinking that in Ottawa and by the time I moved back to PEI the Liquor Stores just started stocking it!

And I have a really weird question... Do they sell Keiths in cans? We don't have canned beer or soda on PEI so I was just wonderin'...

LOL the famous german beer Heineken is dutch Lizzie! I do like german beer because it is so strong ;D Although I also started to get into the whole mixed flavoured beer stuff YUMMY! You will love any beer once you have gotten to Florida and have tried Milwaukees Best! It is the worst beer ever, but it's cheap so it was a fellow friend for all of us LOL

I already did the program Sheena :'( But I just got a job offer for Ft Lauderdale and if I'm gonna do good at the interview I will be moving there end of May :) So I will surely visit you guys at the Commons!

It's a rooms division program at a Sheraton hotel in Ft Lauderdale. I would start as an operator, then front desk agent, accounts clerk, night auditor and supervisor. It's for a duration of 18 months. Would be fantastic for my resume!!! I'm gonna get a call for a selective interview from the hotel in the next few days and then I'm gonna find out for sure. Would be really exciting though ;D

    Hey Sheena!!

Yeah at least 24 beers a week should do. I am trying to figure out what i am gonna do without our canadian beer. Although i must tell you that i am not that big of a fan of Keiths...i know that beer is huge out east. Here on the west coast, it is a trade off between Sleemans and Kokanee. But if Keiths is the only Canadian beer that i can get down there then i am all for it.

Hey everyone, You can buy labatts blue down here at the stores. But u will end up drinking the beast cause it is only 11$$$ for a 24 case.

You can also sometimes find moosehead beer but u have to look hard for that.

I was 19, so I was never overage during my time! Most of my friends were underage, too. The germans and norwegians mostly all go to Florida after finishing highschool, so that should explain it a bit.
