As long as an email was provided, I believe they still send the 8-10 weeks reponse by email.... Wouldn't swear on that though Colin
ok ive made the first step to reapplying.....i emailed alexis yesterday and asked her when is best to reapply... and when will the phone interviews be, so that i can come home from greece in time.. i also asked if there will be glasgow interviews this time around.
I'm starting to get a bit worried as I havn't heard anything from yummy jobs concerning being in contact with me in 8-10 weeks or confirming that they have recieved my application. I applied the same time as most of you (4th April) but sent mine via post. So I hope it hasn't got lost in the post. I did include my email in the cv. They might of already rejected it already! chill out dude! its only the 9th!!! i emailed alexis yesterday, and havent had a reply yet, so im assuming that after the busy few weeks they have had, what with interviews, and arranging ppls leaving dates etc then they have taken the weekend off.... dont worry tho, alexis is very on the ball with regards to returning emails and keeping in touch with u, u always get a quick reply so im sure u will hear soon
Good for you Jilly! Im so glad that you're re-applying. My plan is to stay on the waitlist until November and if i dont get a call I will re-apply in December. So hopefully if we both get through, we'll only be few months apart! Yay! I now completely understand how you felt, I thought my world had ended when i was told i wasnt in! :'( and the thought of being turned down for a second time really upsets me. But if i dont re-apply i'll always think 'what if?' Good luck everyone!! Nat xxx

im not sure how alexis would feel about being referred to as the Eric of the UK lol....jokes yeh nat its the worst feeling ever, i didnt even imagine how bad i would feel but once u hear u havent got a place u just feel so empty...its all over and nothing more i could do about it... feeling more positive now tho....once i decided wot to do with my life til the next round of applications

well the november interviews are usually for departures between january and june i think...which is good coz all my mates who got thru this round will still be there glad ur confident... coz im not!! lol but ta!
lol you gotta keep confident, and it looks like at this point I'll be heading down around that time as well anyway (I'm thinking Oct-Dec at the earliest, although it could be earlier).
Surely you should be more confident than the rest of us, since you know what's coming up in the interviews When I initially emailed Alexis about applying, I was told they were looking to start the programmes in December. Whether that's the interviews or the actual start dates I'm not sure. Andy.
yeh i guess thats true.... but its also more scary as il be doubly gutted to get rejected twice :-[ a december date would be wicked for me if they are available
