There's def. not a three month wait for hotels; I booked a hotel room before that stage. As far as I could tell you could book hotel rooms immediately.

 

but you were ICP, and some ICP are only there for 2 or 3 months so your rules may differ from the year long Cultural Representitive people.....just a thought

 

Possibly....but I'm presuming not because they didn't waive the three month restriction on the cruises for us

When you get to disney you can check all the cruise discounts on the cast portal

there's a big table with seasons and amount of guests and whatnot

We are both going to Orlando to have a few days together before she starts. I look forward to seeing the Commons, where she will live and maybe meet some of the people she will live with there. The last time I was in Florida she was only 4 yrs old...I'm sure it has changed a bit!

I'm due to go over on the 20th of June. My mum and dad are already wanting to plan there trip to come over and see me. To the parents who have kids over there and have been to visit them. Did you manage to get discounts on accomation and flights ect.. If you do get discounts is it on the disney accomation and if so did you child have to be with you in order for you to get free admission to the parks? Does disney inform you about what they offer you for when your family come over? Please let me know anything you can so I can put my mums mind at rest.

I had a friend who worked down there last year, and she said as far as she remembers you can book hotels and cruises easily, but park admissions come after your first three months. I think you get 12 a year, and it allows you along with three other people into the parks at a time. With regards to the cruises, she couldn't remember if the cast member had to be with you, but they don't for hotel rooms. I think they had some info on this in the frequently asked questions, but I don't remember. I think we might also get a discount on park admission but it's not that significant because anybody booking a trip early (if they book passes online or by phone) can get a small discount anyways. I'm sure that doesn't clear anything up but I hope it helps.

 

As part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth, main gate passes (those that give the free admission for your guests) are being given out at a stage earlieer than three months. It is still three months before you can book a cruise. Hotels can be booked at any stage: the CM doesnot have to stay in the room, but the rate is cheaper if the CM will be staying in there.

 

Do ICP's get 12 main get passes? Because CP's only get 6.

Srub that...ICPs *got* zero. I know some changes were made to the overall CP main-gate policy last year. So ICPs may get main-gates this year...I don't know for sure.
