No she didnt ask me to slow down either which is good, but I just know I'm a fast talker when I'm anxious. I was told by Kristen that it's later this year the applications can start again. :)

When do you think we will start hearing responses back?

I reckon realistically the first week of May after the bank hols we will start to hear, though I did say to Chloe "oh my gosh it's going to be the longest 3 weeks of my liiiiife" lol and she said she would try to push it to 2 weeks (which would be next week) though couldnt promise anything. So really we should expect the week after next. How u feeling about yours?

Okay, that's not too bad a wait.

I don't know. I think it went 'okay', I'm just not sure whether I translated or conveyed all the thoughts and answers in my head properly in speech to Chloe. I hope she got everything I was saying and knew what I was banging on about. I don't know. I just want to be put out of my misery!

    How about you?

Just to but in here ( :D ) I think the thing is we will always have had more to say, or rather most of us will have had, as we over-prepared in our head, but I guess if we make it to the final stage then we will have more to say, did that make sense or am I rambling?

nahhh I just hope time goes quickly to be honest!

I know what you mean, when there's so much you want to say or want to get across and you don't know if you've done it or come across properly. I literally banged on about my disney passion lol so I'm hoping that did help. I was slightly wary afterwards when people said they got asked about hospitality stuff and how they would deal with a mardy customer, because Chloe didn't ask me anything like that. I am literally expecting the worst :-( there are so many applicants and I just feel like wellll I wasn't anything frickin special lol. I was pleased when I got asked about which character I'd be because I was able to throw in experiences of how characters have interacted with me when I've gone to disney. Like chip n dale always seem to 'banter' with me and put on a show with one of them 'proposing' to me and the other walking off with me. LOL. I said at first that I'd be Tink but coz I'm not 4ft tall and certain the zipwire coming from the castl in Wishes won't hold me (LOL) i said I'd be a chipmunk because I'm fun and giggly but at the same time caring and true. Then I went on to babble how I'd be a princess because every little girl dreams to be a princess and I'm still a little girl at heart..... BIG LOLLLLL!! Soooo cheesy but I thought, I don't want to be all "i want to be Mickey" along with everyone else. LOL.

hahaha butting in is great, people sharing their opinions etc :D it's just you know when you get the feeling you havn't said the 'right' stuff LOL. when she asked me about my experience including my motivation I mainly went on about my love for disney and then briefly mentioned my experience of working at ASDA and being a student rep. n then ended that part with the difference with 'customers' in the criminal justice field of which I currently work in. lol. I knowwwwww I'm rambling on, getting paranoid, over analysing things but... I JUST WAANNNTTTT IIIIIIT! :D hahahaha

Ha ha every interviewer has a different style and also I dare say they get bored asking the same questions so they decide to mix it up a bit and take info from your c.v. etc when making the decision. As an example my interviewer asked very 'open' vague questions that allowed for a range of interpretations/answers, such as : "obviously a big factor in the role is customer service, can you tell me what you think excellent customer service is about, or why it is important, or give me an example of a time when you have given excellent customer service", and "what would you say to a guest about where you come from?" - COULD HAVE BEEN HOME CITY, HOME COUNTRY OR THE UK. So I think it just depends on their mood and what they feel like asking, I am sure if there was something they really felt was not evident from your online application or something they really wanted to know they would just have asked it.

Yeahhh I do try to think "well they must have liked what they read in my online application" and so that's why I just let my personality shine through. Even though we havn't been told anything, it's such a surreal experience! I never dreamed that one day I'd apply to work in Disney World :)

Oh jeeeeeeez, when you put it like that it's frightening! lol. will my life just be beginning or will it be over?! LOL. I'm kidding, oh my god if we got that far and were actually told "yes we want you!!" I don't actually know what I'd do after cry and scream! :D

Unless you get waitlisted. Haha sorry didn't want to be mean and burst the bubble but I didn't really think too much about it before it happened and then I spent almost 6 months (9 months from the application) still with my phone glued to me hoping to hear! Hopefully none of that will happen though and you'll all get your dates straight away! :)

Yeah, I had thought of that :S but then I guess in a way that is the applications over and now its the start of new chapter "the waitlist chapter" but yeah fun and games, I suspect that they may just give jan/feb dates out and waitlist everyone else as the dates go so far into the future, and didn't most of the Canadians get waitlisted or am I imagining that?

Well when i spoke with Hannah on the phone, and we were speaking about availability and what not, she mentioned there is still some places for 2011 start date, but majority for Jan/July 2012.
So hopefully no one has to get wait-listed if successful, i can only imagine that would off been a dier wait for those who did, least you're through :)

Yup us Canadians got waitlisted only 6 made it through initially. Though another 6-10 are off the list as of last week.
