    The wedding singer what about dirty dancing... i am right in thinking that became a musical

    Yeah Dirty Dancing became a musical (I saw it and don't rate it much...there was minimal singing and when they did sing it was ensemble members only, and you spent the entire show waiting for that lift. Kudos to the cast though, they were amazing and the dancing was great. I didn't enjoy the film though so the musical didn't really appeal to me).

    And yes Godspell was based on the Gospel of Matthew, although I think the musical was done before the film, although they both opened about 3 years apart in the '70s.

    there is a legally blonde musical jeese any kind of film these days is a musical i mean lotr! how they made a musical out of a 12 hour (thats with special edition) film
