Get together Summer 2010!! (UK peeps)

Never done a picnic in a park?! Ok we are gonna have to make this good!! I plan on having lots of picnics in Orlando!!

Awesome this is coming together nicely. Picnic or Nandos! Only ever been once lol. I really do feel like I have been deprived! Aww congrats on getting the visa form, is it complicated to fill in? How come they don't give you long to get it all sorted? x

 

I have no idea going to the us embassy 8:00am on tuesday eeekk can't wait to get it sorted did you hear somone went on capital radio today and gave a shout out to everyone on wdwip but i did not chatch the name do you know who it was!!

Picnic idea sounding great, shall I make a facebook event cos I know some people look at that more than the forums! We'll have to have a rainy day alternative plan too!!

Looks like there's probably 4 or 5 of us that can do that date so far? Must try and harass some more people to come! x x

 

Also,just a thought, would anyone like to go and see The Lion King musical that evening? There's still a few tickets left at the £30 price?

Don't have to, just that's one of the musicals I haven't seen and thought it's quite disneyfied! x x

that's cool. they're normally quite flexible with new starters so yeah if we go ahead with that date?!

I'm trying to get a job, but it seems noone wants me, and soon it's going to be too close to my start date to get one :-(

I have just seen the event on Facebook. I am coming but not going to accept on Facebook....its a little complex to do with work and certain members of my dads family who I dont want anything to do with or this information getting back to him. What train/bus station will everyone be arriving at? I'm going to look at train/coach prices in a bit and make my decision from there. I guess coach will be cheaper. I'll check to see what I'm working the next day as to the Lion King...I've never seen a West End Show either! Many firsts for me lol. If so I'll prob book a cheap travel lodge and come back the next day . x

Sorry to be a pain with all that. I'll keep checking the event page though ...If I arrive by coach it will be Victoria and if I arrive by train it will be Paddington. I have the 18th and 19th off!

No worries re. where you arrive into, those arriving at the same stations can meet there, and then we can meet as a group somewhere in central...if the weather looks like picnic then I'll see if I can carry a rug and other such artefacts with me!!
