general costs - how much money do we need?!

What about the credit union?? Vista Federal Credit Union I think it was... thats what I had when I did ICP in 2006 - it seems thats what everyone did at the time. How much does it cost with each option??

so if your careful with your spending, sunturst is probably best, its free to open an account, and you don't have to wait til your social security number is in either, alsooooooo
its free to transfer money, just use paypal haha

 

Just a quick question regarding transferring money.....if my mam needs to transfer money over for me can she do so into an american bank account???

Money can be transfered between accounts anywhere in the world, of course the banks may charge fees, and the exchange rates can be rather shitty, but as long as you have the right details (sort code, account number, etc), it's all ok.
