hell no, im still a wreck from last night.

last night was insane. in fact, this person describes it perfectly:

"In the early hours of Saturday 5th May a peaceful gathering of students partied between 19 Hessle Terrace and 20 Hessle Avenue. For many this would a last party before the exam period....

Unfortunately, the party was shut down without cause and suddenly by a large police force armed with nightsticks and dogs. What happened next can only be called police brutality. Obeying students were charged and beaten back by the police, even when moving away from the party. The response from the revellers was passive especially in relation to the level of violence displayed by a service supposed to protect its citizens.

Prior to this there had been no warning that the police disperse the party, let alone mount an offensive where people were left bruised, bloody and wondering why this had happened.

Many question are unanswered.
Why shut down the party?
Why shut down this party over any other that regularly take place without incident?
Why charge a group of passive people, both male and female enjoying themselves?
Why were pepole wanting to walk home beaten back with nightsticks?

WHY DO THE POLICE CONSISTENTLY GET IT SO WRONG!"
