FRIDAY NOVEMBER 23rd

the wait was intense today! my interview wasnt until half 6!!! i was like noooooo what can i do for 7 and a half hours?! in the end i was phoned to come back and i got one at half 4 but still very long wait! who did you have yours with? i had jeff...thought he was really cool!

 

I had Jeff too. I had to come back for 5:30; but the receptionist made me wait downstairs for about 25 minutes. ???

I ended up really nervous, because she kept saying I had to wait and I was so sure I was meant to go up to get my paperwork checked through.

 

i really didnt like the receptionist she had no idea what was going on!

 

Me neither!
I came in at about 5 past 5 and said I was there for the 5:30s and you know how they said to come 20 minutes beforehand and whatever; I thought that at 5:10 she'd let me up; but she just made me wait until way past 5:30 until someone from upstairs came down to ask if there were any interviewees left.
Grrrr

 

Quite, she put my name in the computer as Bex Shaffield...... (It's Beth Schofield)

Caused a right kerfuffle when I returned!

Wouldn't it have been easier if she had a list of names to tick off?

 

she spelt my name wrong...but not that much! she asked how to spell my last name but didnt bother with the first so i stupidly assumed she's known!

 

Yeh I should have known better really, although I didin't want to seem rude and go, 'Say, foreign lady with slightly wobbly english, I think you may need me to spell that for you or even just perhaps repeat it....' Cause, yaknow, Disney may have only employed superly amazing people who read MINDS.

It's been a week and a day! I'm really hoping we find out monday! I'm away tueday - thursday so I'm PRAYING I have internet access or have found out already!

 

I just wanna know! i hadnt told any of my friends i went for it... but it kinda slipt out to a couple of them last week when i was drunk

 

Oh I've told nigh on Everyone I know! Couldn't keep it in!

i was too scared i didnt want to jinx it, and heate letting people down i would really really hate to say to everyone oh i didnt get in

 

Couldn't guess to be honest, it's possible, in a stereotypical blonde way! I don't want to sound xenophobic! Oh god I should shut up!

I've made it out to everyone that it's a pretty long shot. I also don't want to get hopes up. Most dissapointed would be my dad! Bless him he really wishes he could audition!

 

Hey i was at the aberdeen interview on the 13th.... did any of u guy get a timescale of when u would get to know... coz we were told like 2-3 weeks and still no word and its 3 weeks on tues ???.... i cant wait to find out am becomin a bit obesssive with the email checking sadly lol x

 

hmmm well there was a lady in liverpool who said i could audition for shrek! i had to tell her shrek wasn't Disney... stupid women, anyway we were told two to three weeks on the 19th and well I'm thinking
(actually almost phoning yummy jobs asking if they know and if they do know why are they torturing me so much)
we hear either Monday or Tuesday.

 

I think they've told everyone 1-3 weeks and seeing as the interviews started almost 3 weeks ago, I'd have thought they'd tell us, if possible, by Tuesday. Let's hope!

I was at Disney HQ in Hammersmith so actual Disney people on reception - I really hope Disney don't hire people who think Shrek is theirs ahhhhhhhh the INJUSTICE if so!

That. Is so tempting.

 

Yee that does sound soo tempting i thnk i will phone if we dont know by like thursday coz that will have been over 3 weeks and i dont think i could take anylonger without knownin lol.. i know some ppl from the aberdeen one know they have gt in the yr programme but i dont think any summer ppl know yet what positions did every1 apply for?

 

Hey, just to say...

My friend (also applying for Summer 08 ICP, also at Aberdeen interviews...) emailed yummy jobs last Thursday and got a reply saying...

Kim and her crew only just got back to Florida so haven't sent the lists of names back to yummy yet. Yummy are expecting to know by Friday the 7th.

Pah... can't wait much longer!

Friday are they tryin to torture us honestly :'( i am the same cant wait much longer.

 

ahhh i wish i didnt know now that we should hear word by friday!! now ill b all nervous on friday! and plus they interviewed like 300 people so itll take them AGES to phone all them!!! i wonder do they ring the people who got in first..... I kinda told everyone... but said it was a long shot too! my friends are used to me knowing what i want to do like a year in advance to they keep asking me... and i keep telling!!!whoops!
