Florida Weather?

well guys I have been out here for over a month and the last couple of weeks has been on and off rain, and high humidity, so dam hot sometimes, especially standing in the sun!

Bring with you a light raincoat just to wear too and from work, I left my appartment the other day in the sun and heat and finished work in the rain and it really cooled down...Yes I will cold for the first time in over a month and it takes alot to get me cold.

 

it's basically chucked it down for 2 weeks.

 

Haha u don't sound too happy jess! I was over for a week and 5 days of it was just rain rain. I'm not exaggerating when I say we had about 10 minutes of sunshine in 5 days

Its like Florida weather in Blackpool at the moment! Unfortunately I'm working day off tomorrow, let's hope this sun sticks around!

 

Apparently its guna be boiling again in the UK tomoro..

Just my luck, I bet when I get to florida it'll be raining there and boiling here!! :'(

I'll just risk it! I've still got a glimmer of a tan from when I was there on my last year..So hopefully I'll get away with it...

Hmm florida weather, what to say

ohh
well its like 100 degrees and your sweating and moaning

then BANG
you hear thunder
and then the heavens open, and within 2 minutes, your soaking wet!

 

The way our family describe Florida weather, is very hot (not too hot though) and always nice, but you can be assured that at around 4pm near enough every day you are promised a downpour of rain lol

for about 5 mins then its clear again haha

 

gotta take the rough with the smooth!

 

you call 100 degree heat and intense humidity not too hot?

 

I've been to Florida in the summer and in the winter and let me tell you the summer months can bring unbearably hot temperatures and the winter months are generally much more comfortable, but I will add that one year during my family vacation (it was February I think) we had to wear toques and mittens - it was freezing!!! But thats not the norm... thank goodness!

 

So how low does the temperature get in the winter? Below freezing point? If not, I'm only taking shorts with me.

well not too hot for us anyway, i come from a family with a spanish background, so i guess i have the spanish blood, i love hot weather lol

 

I'm struggling with the heat here already.lol

Do they let you drink water while you work to keep hydrated?
