Graeme we tried to pick the two-seaters at the back like you said, but they were all taken... BOO! ;D Ohh well we'll have to slum it! At least we're not on the wing! I ALWAYS end up on the wing (perhaps something to do with my surname??)

That's right, i went on the virgin site today and chose my seat. I've gone for a window seat near where you get on the plane because i'm sick of having to wait to get off because i'm stuck at the back.

Slightly OT but i need a flight from gatwick to Manchester around late June/ early july so i can visit my mum before i go to florida. who should i be flying with? EasyJet? I need a dirt cheap seat

ooo whats this about booking a return flight and just not turning up for the flight home, am i allowed to do that without being charged like an extra £300 (slight exaggeration i know :) ) i am so unfussy ill take any flight at the mo as long as the stop-over isnt over 12 hours (like the aer lingus flight that keeps appearing) xxx

We didn't find STA that good either, they were fine when we booked it and said they had got us seats together as there is 4 of us flying together. But when I went to look where our seats were on the virgin website there were no seats booked!!
We managed to get 4 seats near each other, but thats not what we wanted, needless to say we wern't very happy with STA!!

i've had pretty good service with STA i've gotta be fair, but calls them as you sees them innit
maybe it's something to do with my cracking thighs...people can tell that from e-mails/phone calls right? ;)

As Kirstie said before, they weren't great with the whole seat booking thing! Actually they were v v bad with that! But on the whole they were pretty helpful when it came to getting a good price/booking tickets, etc. I had to ring them a few times (spoke to Petra each time) and she was really nice. If anyone needs her number just let me know. Apart from you Matt, she said she's sick of you sending her pics of your thighs.

Just a word of advice for anyone booking Virgin seats through sta - go straight on to the website after you book and reserve your seats! x x
