Hey Rach and Erynn,

There's alot of us from Winnipeg going.  I'm not going until December (anyone else going then ???) but my friend Angela, who was at the Toronto interviews with me, is going on September 20th.  We found out today! Totally exciting!  Anyway, where abouts in Winnipeg are you from?

Diana: I'll be able to teach peole quirky things Islanders say... like sockfeet and transfer trucks! And slippy as well, but my friends and I actually saw a sign in Scotland that said, "Caution: Slippy" or something like that.

Lisa: Noticed your lil pic - have you seen Beauty and the Beast on Broadway? I soooo want to see it, I taped a "Making of" special for it off the tv over ten years ago and still have it! Haven't watched it in awhile though And if you give me an address, I can send you a postcard of Edinburgh! (Oooh, we could start up a postcard exchange! Jen = nerd)

HalifaxBoy: I looked for Halifax on a map this morning before work so now I know EXACTLY where it is. I do important stuff like that in the mornings. It's a shocker that I'm late for work almost every day And I actually went four months in Edinburgh without owning an umbrella. Lesson learned...

Erynn: do you have any f&b experience? I have practically none! And the stuff I do have (oooh, I scooped ice cream and pop corn) wasn't even on my resume as it was at least 6 years ago! Ah well, pouring over-priced beer can't be too hard

Derek: I have the advantage of being five hours earlier than AST so got to beat the rush to the accepted board

@ Jen... nope, none no f & b experience. I'm told that they train and that's the most important thing. I learn quick or at least that's what I always get told.... I'm sure we will all be fine... I'm excited to figure it all out.

@Mel... I live in St. James near Saskatchewan Ave.... it's closer to Hamilton but on Cavalier. You said you were at the Toronto Interviews, were you from Red River, with your friend that was in TOurism?.... If you were, I think that we were chatting it up there.... I go to the U of W.... my profs are all tooo excited. It's funny, b/c when I told one of them, they asked for their term paper..... I've been way to busy worrying about this, so now it's time to write my last university paper for the next year.... OMG.... that felt nice to write....

Yes you are right about the bad part of this we will go to party there and the next day we will be working with the same people that we were partying with a night before, well that will be interesting, we will be a great team heheheheh....
