Damn, I feel sorry for anyone going to be there who hasn't found these boards and is stuck sittin cross legged on the floor
you'll probably find that the people that DO know of the boards are a minority. loads more people dont know about them than do for some strange reason. you'd think more people would think to look it up on a search engine! thats what i did anyways! anyway, just look at it like you have an advantage, you in theory should be less nervous thatn them as you have a better idea of whats happening! and what they're looking for * confidence boost * xx
ok my fellow interviewees... if you want to add me to your msn so we can chat before our interview,i always seem to be on here when noone else is!!! speak to you soon..love stephxxx

you've done it twice??! it must be so well worth it then!!! got the butterflies!! ahhhh! this is like a dreaaaaaaaam!
i didnt do the programme twice, they dont let you. i applied, got the job, but then got offered a place at a dance school so went there as i wouldnt be able to do that if i was any older. so when i finished that i re applied. now im going in june. but i got given the job twice, so i guess im doing summit right, any questions feel free to ask! xx
hi lindsey..ive added you to my msn.. i dance aswell, what dance school did you go to? im studying dance at the minute, have been since the age of 3!! i would secretley love to dance in the parades at disney ,and hopefully one day dance on cruiseships.. in your interview did they ask you about previous jobs, and how they would have helped you to cope with situations at disney? love steph xx
they didnt ask but i purpseley put it in myself, cant remember how but i brought it up somehow! I was in what is now called the Ecosse performers college, but it used to be called the classical dance centre of scotland...mmm which name sounded better!lol I didnt really enjoy it as i wanted to train as a teacher and they dropped that from the cirriculum so i left, still training with my dance teacher in inverness that i been with for years, but dont really take it too seriously now. I'm teaching her classes quite a lot and not really getting any lessons myself!lol xxx
i very excited now!! is the interview just a bog standard interview???! if u know what i mean...! as in the questions, like what would u do in certain situations, why do you want to work for disney, how would you cope with the living experience etc etc, ie like the phone interview??? Jo p.s 5 days!!
Hi everyone!! I`ve just managed to actually talk back on this site as have been looking at it for the past couple of months but not actually spoken to anyone although have recently got in touch with a couple of you through personal emails. Cant believe monday is approaching so fast but seems everyone really up for it so it should be a good laugh.
i'll see if i can help u on that oen josie! the day starts with a presentation from the recruiters around 9am, this goes on for a good 1 1/2 hours, very comfy chairs btw, temptin 2 fall asleep but ur so excited bout seeing the vids and where you may b working its a lot 2 take in! then jason/alexis will announce interview times our ranged from 11:15-6pm, each at 15 minute interviews. there were 2 recruiters dru & julie when we were there so i guess you'll have them 2. I was actually the first interview of the day so i had no idea what to expect. it however is not really a bog standard interview, in fact it doesn't feel like an interview at all. You sit down with the recruiter and they have a general chat with you, how u enjoyed the presentation the day etc, etc. i was then told there r a few questions they have to ask, like why should they give u the job? what will they remember u by? i did try to put things in from previous experience like oh during my job here i encountered this type of scenario, however there r only 2 or 3 questions like this! I actually ended up chattin 2 julie for around 15 minutes *we ran over the time, oops* about marmite, and paris, and general travelling things, where she'd visited in the uk and all that. it is very very relaxed, very enjoyable too, it was just like chattin to an old friend! Good Luck guys it's fast approaching for you all now! I wish i was going to the interview again, just so i can watch the presentation and take it all in, cos i can't remember much of it now! Sara xx
cheers for all that sara! feel quite ok about it all now and VERY excited. my friend asked me if watching disney films was like studying for my career....which it is i guess!! i watched little mermaid before my phone interview for good luck so disney fest this sunday i reckon! wooo!!
haha there are worse ways to spend your sunday josie! its nothing to worry about at all. just good fun! i think its probably a good idea to try and answer something at the little quiz thing, as it will make you stand out a bit!?!? but its by no means what will get you the job, soo dont take it like im saying that, but it will make them notice you??agree sara?? im not sure! i just know that me and marie both answered and the quiz must be for something?? xx
yeah it can count for u, but it doesnt mean ull get the job if u answer a question! i didn't, however i got used as a prop, LOL *remember chelle*, and i stil got in, but all the time look like ur on ur guard, enjoying the presentation, smiling etc etc, cos they watch u all the way through, obv if u fall asleep mid way i think u can count the job chances goodbye lol xxx
