February 3rd 2009???

Yep me too, I finish work on 30th jan and have even arranged my leaving party for 31st, lol.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna feel a bit of a tool having a leaving night out on january 24th, then don't go for another 3 weeks! I wouldn't struggle to get some shifts at work to keep me entertained but I'm meant to finish on sunday & had pretty much got myself into the wind-down mode!

 

OMG leaving on 17th Feb would suck big time...and I've done the same as Stu and sorted out everything.

I know Casey got hers a day before she left! So I hope we have time. Plus, if we get pushed back, I can't change my flight!

 

Christ, getting it the day before would be cutting it a bit fine! This is exactly why I decided not to book 'owt until everything is sorted! I had a horrible feeling that us leaving just after the new year would turn out to be a bit of a curse!

 

Well I went Feb 6th in 2006 and it all went fine!

 

Bah, we're just unlucky this time around then. At least we're all in the same situation so we know it's nothing we've done wrong as individuals.

 

Well at least my flights will be covered for cancellation!

 

have you guys started getting your visa packs?

because i just found out some of our 10 march people received theirs the past 2 days. teresmor and dana w. if you wanna ask them any questions maybe. im sure they will be willing to help where possible!

Got an email this morning about it, we can make our appointments as of january 26th...which scuppers my plans for going early. Bugger.

 

WOOHOO!!! Finally got the email today with our reference number on it. Taking half day holiday so I can dash home and ring the Embassy for my appointment. It would appear my work phone doesn't like me making £1.20 a minute calls

I just tried to phone & apparently we need a case type number which I couldn't find on Michele's email. Christ, this is difficult!

 

Is the case number not the receipt number which is on the bottom of the email??

 

Sorted, Michele emailed us all the other number we need. That's me booked for 8am on the 27th. Woo-hoo, a day in the smoke!
