Hey there, i have my F2F interview on the 19th aswell. so i might see you there. i sent u a pm aswell :)

theres lots of possibilities going through my mind about going if anyone whos been working there before can help me with them? the length of time, 13 months, worrys me about being away from home so long. im in a relationship atm too. iv been long distance already with my bf so im not too worried and he said he wud support me. im just wondering if i did go to work over there and then after 6 months say i didnt like it, what is their policy in the contact or whatever about people leaving the program?
how much do cast members get paid weekly? and what hours each week do you get off work, and are there any other periods of a break to go travel or look around, apart from the final month of travelling?
    appreciate your help. xox

Hey emzviolet, I'm not actually over there yet, but from what I gather, if you want to self terminate, you're quite welcome to, but Disney wont pay your flight home and I think you have to get back to the UK asap (out of the housing complex in 24 hours rings a bell, but don't quote me on that).
In terms of wages and hours, you'll find that all out at your interview. They give you a presentation in the morning where they tell you everything you need to know, but at the mo it's just short of $8ph if you're in merch or quick service F&B. If you're in a tipped position (ie. in the restaurant) your hourly wage goes down to I think about $4ph, but you get a fairly hefty amount in tips (like 20/25%). So baisically crap, but you're not going over there for the money :D
As far as I can gather on hours, you average about 30-45 hours a week, but in peak times you could get 50 ish (I'm sure I read somewhere anything over 40 a week and you get time and a half) and you should get 2 days off a week, which you can request to piggy back so you have a 4 day weekend, but I think that's down to managers descretion. I read somewhere in my bumph that you can take a week off here and there, but it's unpaid.
Hope this helps, I know I'm not the best person to answer as I'm not actually out there yet and like I said, you'll find out a lot more at your interview. Good luck!
