february 2010 opportunity/waitlisted

Thank god! its not just me then ha ha, I keep tryin to think when we might hear but have come to the conclusion its just a guessin/ waitin game lol xxx (which does not help with my sanity) xxx

 

im keeping my hopes up and everything crossed for me and you lucie!!! i was emailing hannah and i asked her to change my availability to the start of december. so its still within this year. lets hope i get word back soon. hannahs prob sick of me contacting her, im gonna seem overly keen! lol
congratulations again to everyone who has been successful! so proud of u all! your all gonna have a blast when u get over, partys all round im sure! keep a drink cold for me, if i get it

One of the girls I had my interview with is still waiting. I like her know I have got off the waitlist and she emailed Hannah and Hannah said the list is still moving so just wait and see. Fingers crossed for everyone on the waitlist!! Hope to see you out there x

 

The list will keep moving until your 6 months of being on it are up. The waitlist people are there to fill the places of drop outs/terminations, or people who say they can go, but something comes up at the last minute. You're also there if the park gets busier than expected, and Disney feel they need more staff on. The waitlist never stops moving really, until your 6 months is up and a new waitlist has been created (from the next application set)
This means that you guys may be waiting a little while yet, but I have every hope that you'll all get to go out there at some point. After all, you've only been on the waitlist for just over 2 months. You've got another 4 months to get off it yet!! Keep the hope up, and you'll get to see Florida eventually.

 

I know at least in Canada they will send you emails basically telling you that you are still on the waiting list... my interview was in October and I got an email every couple of months ... but I am on the waiting list til July 1st so yeah 6 months ... most people I intetviewed with have been called so there definitely is a high percentage of people eventually getting the position fret not guys... I found more people were getting calls around the 2 or 3 months mark and they are actually there now after being on the wait list. keep your head up.

I have news...
I know of someone who was at our F2F who has been offered a position with the same departure date as me who might not accept.
This means someone might be called upon to fill that person's spot...
