I couldn't get on the link either lol. And i've just chosen a hotel in Hammersmith. Then i looked on google maps to see how far away it was. The Premier Inn is 800m away apparently from the Disney offices so i'll have a test run when i get to the hotel. Hopefully it should be easy to find I'll be getting the train to Kings Cross on the 3rd and hopefully not get lost on the tube on my way to Hammersmith haha.
I am fortunate to have a friend in London, so I'm staying with them. But if you're looking for a room, I advise you to go on trivago.com or travelsupermarket.co.uk. They search lots of Hotels in London so you don't have to! Have google maps up at the same time, so you can see how far the hotel is from Disney HQ. I'm a right bargain hunter me! Premier Inns, Travelodges etc are always a safety, but I think if you get a hotel near Hammersmith, it might actually be cheaper anyway! Hope this little bit of advice has been helpful!
I've gone with Novotel to be on the safe side, it was £155 but I didn't want to risk not having anywhere and end up having to sleep under a bush LOL. is everyone on the facebook group we've set up??? xx
ooo no i'm not! what's the link for it? if not this is my facebook if you could add me to it pleeeease http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=510850421
That link works now I'll be around for the meal as I'm coming over to England on the Friday morning - it should be fun! Also, does anyone know how many people actually got through to this round/how many people actually get to go to Florida? I was expecting them to have about 4 or 5 days of interviews to get through - there can't be that many then, if there's only 2 days worth?? See you all in just over a month! (Scary thought!) xx
Okay so I'm sad enough to have done some guesstimations!! They do interviews approx from 11am-1pm, an hour lunch break and then 2pm-5pm. Roughly. Based on the fact the interviews are probably scheduled as one every 15 minutes (worst case scenario!) then that's 4 per hours for 5 hours = 20 interviews per day. 2 candidates per interview = 40 people. 2 interviewers = 80 people. 2 days of interviews = 160 people. ROUGHLY. This is really just a guess though!
What's this facebook group? I'm totally confused lol but this is my facebook http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=616000144 Love your guesstinmations Catfish thanks ;D
Awesome estimations Catfish Glad you had the patience to work it out - unlike me who couldn't be bothered! Does anyone know how many people they accept? And also, how many people get waitlisted? xx
Wow very good guestimations! Ha ha. Do we go through two stages of interviews then? How many from the 160 go through, around 100? ???
I'm not sure but if you base it on the concept of them giving 6 people dates per month then that's roughly 60 people initially... then maybe about 20 waitlisted?! I have no idea, I'm just guessing now!!! I reckon your chances are about 50/50... that's me being a pessimist I'd imagine tho!
hey guys ive got an interview for the saturday but im trying 2get it changed to the friday because im having to fly back from majorca!!! i think i might have the longest trip!!??? could you add me in2 the facebook group plz cz i cant get it 2work, im Laura briggs in the uni of huddersfield network! thanks x

Hey, anyone know of any local hotels or travel lodges in and around where the interview day will be held?
There are quite a lot, there is a facebook group set up (private mode) for us all and people are discussing where they are staying in there. Also there is a meet up for you guys that have Sat interviews and us guys who have Fri interviews. If you want in the group Pm me your email address/link to your fb page, and I will add you to the group ( it is the only way to do it). In terms of hotels there is a premier inn and holiday inn, some of us are in hotel 65, and there are a few more too. The best thing to do is google maps hammersmith tube station and look about there. Most places are becoming fully booked quickly.
