F2F Interview..I have one :).... who else?

That sounds good Vikki, how far from Disney HQ is that one?

 

gmaps says it's a 13min walk north. But I walk faster than gmaps does!

In other news... I propose that everyone, from both days of interviews, meets up at Pizza Express on the friday night at 7pm. It's about an 8min walk (according to gmaps) south of Disney HQ. Address is:

I'm not going to bother counting numbers yet, apart from a rough guess of 30odd people (which I will book). If I think it's getting any higher than that, I'll let them know nearer the time. Easiest way to do this is probably giving a shout in this thread if you'll be attending, and I'll count rough numbers as I go. Oh, and if (like me) your bf/gf is coming along, say +1 please

I'll do a search into vouchers for cheap deals, but I also get discount there anyway if they don't have any or they're not valid on fridays.

 

Nice one! yea I'll deffo be attending for the Friday night meal I was looking at TGI's as everyone else has done in the past, butt that's like a 15min tube ride away, so I guess a short walk to pizza express would be more appropriate!

Getting really excited now! I'm gonna have to get. All my paperwork / photocopies etc sorted soon! I know we have 3 weeks but u want to get it done ASAP!
Plus I need to order a new birth certificate as I asked my parents where mine is, and apparently they don't know
Lucky it doesn't cost much for a replacment!

 

Yep, count me in for the Friday night! It's just me so far but I'll let you know if that changes as I might bring a friend with me!

I'm new on here Just found this awesome forum whilst searching for info on the CRP.
I've got my f2f interview on the 2nd,yay!!Still cant quite beleive it!
Well done to everyone else who has got an interview too!!
I'm going to be travelling up from Cardiff on the megabus so if anyone would like to be my travel buddy let me know!hehe
I'm also looking for cheap hotels/hostels and would love to meet everyone before our interviews!

So, if successful, which I truly hope everyone is... when are you all hoping to start on the program?

 

Just in case anyone's feeling a bit strapped for cash over this whole interview thing, then if you're just looking for a place to sleep and not restaurants, spas etc., then London has some great hostels which are worth a look at (if you don't mind sharing a room with other travellers - but hey that's what you'll be doing in Orlando anyway!

All the main backpackers ones in London take UK guests and are for tourists, so don't get confused with the sort of hostels homeless people stay in lol, so you should be safe.

Backpackers hostels are designed to keep young people safe and give them a good nights sleep so are def worth considering if you're feeling poor! If you haven't done one before it's basically a hotel room with no TV or coffee facilities, and bunkbeds instead of regular beds. It's kind of like a Big Brother bedroom.

St Christopher's is a nice one and is actually in Hammersmith so right near the interview and only 15 quid a night. Picadilly Backpackers is another good one, but pricey, about 25 pounds a night, it's clean, safe, nice, and by Picadilly Circus tube which is 15 mins or so on the Picadilly Line from Hammersmith.

Basically there's loads to choose from, so worth considering before you splash the cash on a posh hotel! Best thing to do is have a look at the hostels websites as they have photos to give you an idea of whether it's your thing or not.

BrerJon - Thanks for the advice on the hostels. I've been told to use the hostels as they are clean etc. I'll have a good think.

If I'm going alone, I'll prob do the hostel.

My friend might come down with me too, depending if she can have time off work.

I also have the option of my parents coming down because they have time off and were planning on taking a city break anyways. In which case, it'll be free for me and I'll be able to join the meet up in pizza express on friday :-D. This is sooo exciting. I've literally bored every single person in work today, about this interview.
