Ahhh thanks for all the advice.

Yeah I was thinking a suit. I already have one thank god. I'm glad you've said that now, cos I really wasn't sure whether to wear it or not.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with the whole hair thing. I have long hair and was thinking of putting it in a bun but I'm absolutely useless at all that sort of thing...I suppose I'll have to get practising..

you could wear your hair down or something, i just mean that it needs to look professional, no backcombing or massive curls or anything (unless of course your hair is naturally curly!!) ;D

Lol... It's naturally straight. I was thinking half up/ half down - no back combing.. I need to get my priorites right. I need to book a hotel first haha.

Oh yeah.. it asks for us to print an up to date cv too - should this also include the cover letter?

no idea, they never asked for that way back when i did my f2f!!! Id take a copy of a CV & CL, even if they dont ask for the cover letter its good to look over it to jog your mind before your interview, cant hurt!!! :D

This isn't my thread but seems a bit daft to start a whole new 'what are we wearing' conversation in the other one ;D ... so I have a black trouser suit that I was going to wear with a smart and conservative t-shirt- will that be OK, I don't want to wear a shirt if I can get away with it! And I have black court shoes with small heels. Does that sound about right? I was also going to tie my hair up and wear very little make-up (mascara and the unavoidable concealer)

Hey folks can I just check the interviews are still at Hammersmith on the 1st? People for the 2nd got an e-mail from yummy to say it was in Waterloo, but I think the friday people are still the original coz we've not been sent one.

Heya! I haven't had an email about any venue changes either, so I'm guessing the interviews on the 1st are still at Disney HQ in Hammersmith. I'm sure they would have sent an email to people on both interview dates if both sets of interviews were being held in different places.
Going to keep my eyes open for emails from Yummyjobs right up until the 1st though, just in case!

Yeah - I've not had an email either. I've booked my hotel now, in Holiday inn express - I really hope I won't have to cancel.

I'm travelling from Southampton, so I'll probably get the train from Fareham, on Thursday afternoon
I went shopping tonight for my outfit but ended up buying two because i couldn't decide. What type of thing is everyone wearing?
    :D

So far I am wearing a full suit. Probably trousers. No idea what colour shirt/top to have. I'm also still stressing bout what to do with my hair lol.

Just wondering - have everyone filled out the application yet?

I've got two degrees and it doesn't give me the option to put both in (well I don't think it does) - do you think it's just okay to put the one? I know the degree means nothing to this whole thing but like, don't want anything to go against me for excluding info.

My hair is a pain to put up but thats what I'm going to try and do.

You could always mention the other degree in the interview with them, and just explain there wasn't space.
Where is everyone else coming from?

I am either wearing a skirt suit or a dress with a matching jacket.

Yeah, it's going to be on my cv, and I think I'll put on other awards or achievements section. I gave up filling it out last night. I can't remember where I put my passport! Uh oh...

I'm coming from North Wales, which reminds me.. I still need to book my train tickets. I'll be staying in the holiday inn express, too.

Oh dear, you may need that. I have put mine in a wallet with the rest of the stuff I need.
Are you getting there on the Thursday? I will probably leave Southampton at about 2 to avoid rush hour in London. Explore the area when I get there so I know where I have to go in the morning.

Found it, along with all other important info. I'm getting it all prepared now.

Yeah I'm arriving there on Thursday, probably around the same time. I was thinking we should all try and meet in the morning, before the interview - you know, so there's less chance of getting lost etc haha

Yeah that would be good, then arriving at the interview together we can work out where to go. I know it's not far, about a 10 minute walk I think.
