Just a quick reminder to everyone, if you're not planning on rushing straight home after the interviews, we're having a massive WDWIP meet up at Pizza Express. Please pop on over to the other thread to let me know you're coming along, I think it's a great way for us to de-stress together afterwards!

    Hey guys!

I'm a long time reader of this forum so I'm using my first post to say I'm interviewing on the 1st as well! ;D

I'm coming down from Glasgow so I'll be staying on the Thursday night. Cannot wait to get there, haven't stopped smiling since I got my e-mail!

Looking forward to meeting all of you there! ;)

    Jen xx

Congratulations Jen :) - You planning on staying just the one night?

Amy, I've not found anything yet, but I think I'll end up booking the holiday inn, as long as there's room. I'm now panicking about what to wear etc lol.

    Eeeek... This all so exciting.

Congrats Jen! Welcome to the boards :)

I've just booked 2 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Hammersmith for Thurs night, ended up with a few people coming along for some London fun the day before. Hopefully they'll be able to keep me busy to stop me stressing.

Not sure what to wear either! But I'm thinking I may be able to justify some shopping for this interview ::) Ahhh retail therapy.

Im making a weekend of it also, I love London far too much! Still not sunk in that I've got this far - its going to come round sooo quick!

I'm going to have to do me some shopping too? What are the guys wearing? Should I go with the full suit or just shirt and tie?

I'm no guy but I reckon you should go with the full suit. Also make sure your shoes are extra shiny lol.

Still hasn't sunk in here either! I'm still on my email high, feeling well chuffed I've managed to get a F2F interview.
And on an unrelated topic, the new series of 'The Inbetweeners' starts tonight so I'm in a well good mood at the mo hehee.

Yeah i agree with El1987 (sure I've read your name on here but can't remember it sorry :)) but guys always look good in a suit :) can't go wrong there.

Heya, Thought I'd just speak up! I've just gone through all of what you are going through (excited for you all!!) and I can say without a doubt wear a suit! Every guy that went to the interview I went to were in suits (as far as I can remember anyway!!)

Thanks for the responses guys, you've made up my mind! Suit it is! Shopping's on the cards!

I'm really looking forward to the 1st, be great to meet you all, I'm sure we will all do fine, I tend to be a bit more at ease in face to face situations, than over the phone - I tend to panic a bit on the phone!

I've booked a cheap box room at the Easyhotel in Earls court, it was £50 a night but its tiny! Different I suppose, looking forward to the weekend, not sure if i can make the meal yet though. :)

Tori - you must be soooo excited right now! Have you been waiting long?

I had my interview back in Feb so just a while! Excited is not even the word! Katlou off here and I got our visa's today, so excited is not even the word!!

Do yourself a favour, if there is anyway you can make the meal, do it! It's the best thing you can do for yourself. I had such fun at the meal I went to around my interview, that I might be coming to yours (money permitting) on the 1st. Oh and if you have any questions, feel free to add me on FB I'm Tori Sones (that goes for anyone reading this!)

yeah, quite a lot of the girls were in suits at my interview too- people went very smart- "disney look" and all that!

Yeah, Tori and I got visas today (so exciting) and you'll find that people who interview for disney are definitely of a certain kind of chatty personality! Go for the meal because it'll help you relax and get you more excited about the prospect of Disney!

On the day the presentation they give really make it sound like you've already got there. Just keep positive, chatty and smile! And don't forget, waitlist is goodlist!

    Good luck preparing everyone :) x x x x

take it from someone who has been and done all this before - you NEED to dress to impress, boys - wear a suit! and if you dont want to wear a full suit even smart dress trousers and a shirt, tie and smart v-neck jumper or something looks nice and professional! and for the ladies either a smart trouser suit or a skirt (KNEE LENGTH!!!!!!) and shirt. I wore a black trouser suit to mine but everyone was very well dressed, you need to look professional and business like :) the guys should be clean shaven,no stubble!!!

girls, go easy on the make up etc ------ disney look is very conservative and walking in there looking like your heading out to a club is not what they are looking for!!! minimal make up and keep the hair in a neat ponytail or bun, nothing fancy.
