I'll be drinking around the world! knowing my track record i won't make it past the uk.

it's not that i'm a lightweight, it's that I get cosy and chatting to people and end up staying in one place all night.

i would drink around the world apart from the fact over the summer my dad and i celebrated my 21st by drinking margaritas and quickly became a favourite, yum yum so ill stick to them i think

Just remember you actually have to do some work inbetween all this drinking

 

i suppose it's like uni, except in uni you feel like you should be working when you're not

 

Drinking around the world sounds like fun! I have to be careful with my mixing though, my stomach tends to reject what it doesnt like in the morning!

I think im gonna be half sensible and half drinking - in other words a cross between Helen, Matt and Louisa!

I cant drink when im out there so i wont need to worry about hangovers. But wont be able to go on all the nights out. :'(

 

You can have just as much fun not drinking! I guess you will end up with more money for other stuff.
Im looking forward to spending days in the parks too, its cool that as we are out there for a year we can pick and choose when to go when parks arent busy and experience all seasons, halloween, christmas, thanksgiving.........

What would you do if a person who had also got the job at Disney with you, a person who you have grown to adore and become very good friends tells you that they are having second thoughts about going to america? I mean this person and I have been on the phone constantly and always chatting to each other....I know we all have our nerves, I went though it. But this seems so real.

Tell them to man up! They will regret it for the rest of their life if they chuck away an opportunity like this because they might miss their mam!

 

i got my first bit of doubt today, but i figure the hard part is over, 12 months in fl aren't hard after all the waiting to get in etc!

 

theres nothing to doubt at all! seriously..it's a year of an amazing experiences!

 

I've had no problems this time...but in 2006 wdwip was a horrible place and people really put me off, so I almost didn't go! Then I was put in contact with my friend Andy and he put my mind at rest, and as they say, the rest is history!

We may never get this chance again, so we must grab it with both hands!

 

People on here were horrible?? These boards are like the most friendly thing on the internet! I've never seen anybody get flamed, I sometimes feel I'm not truly online!

 

People had a go at me once...for being on here while I was in Disney....people used to say that if you didn't drink you wouldn't have any friends and how awful it was working for Disney.

It's very nice now though lol.

I can't believe people would be like that! I definetly would have been nervous if I read that before I went. I'm not having any doubts, just a little bit of jealousy for people who have gotten teaching jobs in the UK. But I get over that pretty quickly when I remember that I will spend next year in Florida.
