Just want to give you a little tip... About the duvets.. I'm gonna take mine from Norway, and the way I will fit it into my suitcase is like this:

Put the duvet in a big bag. Make sure there are no holes in the bag. Then put your vacumcleaner into the opening, and suck all the air out of the bag. Your duvet will be so small it won't hardly take up any space at all. When you open the bag again, the air will flow into it, and make the duvet it's origionally size again.

I have some pictures of my packed duvet... look at http://www.meerim.com/Diverse-bilder/P1160013.JPG and http://www.meerim.com/Diverse-bilder/P1160014.JPG (The remote-control lying next to it, is just to give a picture of the size of the bag..)

i thought about doing that aswell... but dint know if an already vacuum packed duvet would shrink any further? was the duvet you did this to already vacuum packed?

no ,it was not already vacuum packed. I don't think it would shrink any more if it's already vacuum packed...

i went to woolworths before i came out here and bought a duvet that was pre packed in a ball (u no how they do it lol) and it fit in my suitcase fine - im so glad i bought it with me, its great to come in from work and sit on the sofa with my duvet - i love it!

So if u want to bring one go for it x

  8. I'm from canada and they have duvets in walmart.........are there seriously no duvets in walmart in Orlando?
If not I'll have to buy a vaccuum packed one before I come out too.

  9. I was just looking at the Walmart website and they DO have Duvet's but they call them "Down Comforters"
So maybe there is hope for the walmart in Florida to have them?

I just don't like comforters, I need my feathers! LOL
