Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm from the UK and was wondering if it's possible for me to buy a cheap car when I'm over there (if I get accepted!), insure it etc. Also does anyone know how much it is to hire a standard car for a week over there? I know that when we go on holiday to Florida it's always really expenssive if you're under 25 and I'll only be 21.
I am not sure..but if I had to guess, to rent a small-sized car, it would be about $200 per week, and if you are under 25, I would add another couple of hundred on top of that (that is in American dollars! plus insurance and such). But I'm sure it would be worth it if you wanted it just to go on a road-trip to the beach or something?
