Sunglasses I think they're not allowed...
...if you need you can only wear normal ones...
The important thing is that they cannot be too much colorful, or have coloured lenses...
    that's a summery...
    here are the details:

    Eyewear
Sunglasses are a block to interpersonal communication with guests and should be avoided if possible. As a general rule, they may be worn in jobs where glare from water, counter tops, direct sunlight, etc., would prevent you from doing your job safely or efficiently. Only sunglasses that allow your eyes to be seen are permitted. No mirrored or dark, opaque lenses are allowed. Sunglasses are not to be worn at night, in dark areas, or indoors. They should be removed when engaging in extended interactions with a guest. Sunglasses should not be visible when not in use.
The frames and lenses of both eyeglasses and sunglasses should be a neutral color, such as black, brown, or metal rimmed (for frames), with a conservative style and no contrasting logos. Frames and lenses in shades such as blue, green, pink, yellow, etc. will not be permitted, as they are not neutral colors. Glasses and sunglasses should not detract from the costume or contradict the theme of the show. Prescription eyewear must also meet these guidelines.

The use of leashes or cords with glasses or sunglasses is permitted on an exception basis only, for Cast in certain limited roles. If a specific department or area requires the use of leashes or cords for safety reasons, please contact the Cast Image and Appearance Office for approval.

If colored or tinted contact lenses are worn, the resulting eye color must be natural looking and appropriate to your skin tone. Decorated lenses are not permitted, nor are any looks which would be considered distracting or not in the best interest of our Disney show.

I took this info on the college program website..
...disney look is pretty much the same...

    You'll better have new glasses...
...especially if it's windy you can't wear everyday contact lenses!!

    hello everyone

I'm new and I just got in like a month ago and I'm going on May the 30th but I have no clue of what is that pack 'cause a friend showed me a page with the things we should take with us but I don't think that's the pack... so can someone explain what's the pack??

The pack is basically a cool blue folder that has Disney luggage tags, a couple of Mickey stickers, your acceptance form, some Disney policies, the Disney Look book and some other information.

What's wrong with wearing contacts everyday? Although its not quite that windy in Edmonton, I think it won't be that bad though.

I wear contacs everyday, no problem there, I don't think wearing glasses and contacs would make THAT much of a difference on windy days.

Just a quick (stupid) question, what did the ICP-ers write on their luggage tag as the address? I know the pack said to write it down as The Commons, but we all know that most ICP-ers end up in Vista or possibly Cathams, so any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Maybe u should ask to someone already there...
    i don't think it'll make the difference..
...in a way or in another you'll get your stuff!! ;D

The problem with contacts isn't the wind...its the constant shift between hot and air conditioned places...especially if your not used to it!!

Mine kept literally falling out over there even with eyedrops coz they kept drying out so quickly...I bought new glasses before the interview, so think I'll wear them and wear contacts at water parks, going out etc....nothing worse than serving someone when your 'eyes' fall out...trsut me it makes things interesting haha!!

Depends if you're used to them though...I don't wear mine that often usually coz I cant be bothered!!

But bring both just in case
