this news becoming really unpopular for french community, so please sure that all the french are not bad, not rapper or anything else.

problem is that i think lot of people panicking for nothing, this gang bang is not acceptable of course but don't forget that now all is under control so don't worry about this!!

This is a piece of evidence for the police! the guys have been relaxed and the girl is fired:!!!! SHe's totally irresponsible, this sort of thing can have lot of dangerous thing : like put some person in prison as if they do nothing!

if what you are saying is true. I am NOT suprised. One of the girls that worked at the Norwegian Store did a porn movie before she went over.

The girl that got "raped" proably just had some regrets and wanted the movie and when she did not get it she accused them of rape..

 

I really don't think this kind of hypothesising is sensible; the matter is with the appropriate authorities and this kind of rumour doesn't help anyone. When ever crimes/alleged crime occurs, you inevitably get people nearby providing 'truth'. There are, I would think, very few people who know the true facts of the situation. Ultimately, it's not for anyone on here to decide what is true. It's for the Floridian justice system.

If this is a true allegation, then there is a victim for whom some posts here verge on libellous. Equally, if not, there are four CMs who are in a horrible position. Whichever party is innocent, they deserve not to have this kind of speculation in a very public forum.

I think it's totally wrong, whatever the facts, to suggest that if a person has participated in a pornographic movie, they cannot be a victim of a sexual crime. That just cannot be justified.

Andy, the administrator, has posted that the site went down earlier due to high server load. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the result of people googling after what happened and looking here. I think it's important to consider that these posts are possibly being read by a very large audience.

Termination is not conclusive: it's for the organs of the criminal justice system, not Disney, to decide issues of criminal responsibility!

Whilst there is a right to freedom of speech (by this country, I presume we are talking about the United States), it is a qualified right. One cannot make libellous statements, for example. Equally, certain matters which are sub-judice cannot be published.

I don't disagree that someone is not telling the truth; however, I am saying that people should not be making accusations on here as to who this is.

That's quite alright! If nothing else, we don't want complaints about the site including libellous allegations!

 

As I so said on the Alumni thread that the media is manipulative in how they broadcast a story. There are only five people who really knwo what happened. All we can hope is that justice is done to those who deserve it and the victim(s) will get through this.

I just hope this does not affect the Program itself. And unfortunately this may affect what is allowed in the commons. Hopefully they won't crack down on the happy go lucky partyers too much.

But can you imagine if they made the whole Commons.....wellness?!!!! (which i doubt but you just never know with Disney and Security.)

 

The thought of de-alcoholising the whole place is something I have wondered if ever will happen. I don't think, though, that it would be productive; history generally shows that banning things causes many more problems. One needs only to look to prohibition to see how true this can be...

The main way I think this could influence the program is in putting off potential applicants; occurences like this can naturally make people apprehensive.

 

I was actually curious as to whether this incident was going to "blow Disney's cover"; in the sense of highlighting the existence of these Cast Member apt. Complexes and piquing the public's (or, more acurately, some areas of the media's) interest in what actually goes on.

Can't imagine they'd show any of those on ABC. :-\

Oh my god....Disney would probably collapse if anyone really knew what the CMs are like!! the amount of times I've walked to work with people and we've said 'wonder what people would think if they knew we were all hungover!?!'

I think a reality show of this place would be the best thing on TV - i'd definitely be hooked!!! haha!!

I think people would be very surprised to be honest as its like they dont think that CM'S live normal lives like they think they go home go to bed get up smiling and go back to work it would be a big eye opener lol .Would defo be hooked.
