    know what???
    i'm sooooooo excited!
i can't wait to meet whoever i end up with..
but i'd prefer not to have a 2 personer -er, because that just wouldn't be as much fun i think!
hey, to all the plane-sickies= try to stay super-hydrated, drink water the nite before and all during the plane ride, that always helps me..
i remember last march, coming back to canada from france, and i had a window seat, so the person who kept having to move while i went to the bathroom probably didn't love me... oh well! ::)

Lol ah well something else to add to the list of experiences ;)

As I've said on here, I don't really know if I could pick a preference lol, cos I can see all sides, so Im glad we are just allocated. Just that knock knocking on the door lol ;)

The greatest thing is that you have all your best friends in one place. That's definitely the thing you will miss most after the year....

    My housing experience was great.

I lived at building 4, really close to the clubhouse and my apartment was on the first floor and I shared it with other 7 girls. So, that means we were 8 girls leaving at the apartment.

I was so lucky because 5 of 8 we arrived in September the same day (From Norway, Canada, Italy, Ireland, and me from Mexico).

At the apartment there were already three other girls from Japan, China and Germany. The Japanese and Chinese moved a month after we arrived to a two people apartment because they couldn't stand the newbie noisy happy girls, (they lived by themselves like one month, imagine having 5 more in one day) because we got along so well, and the German girl, (she arrived like two months before) she liked the 5 of us.

So, we lived 6 of us happily all together (we were afraid that new roomates could break our stability and harmony) and in December we got two lovely roomates from USA and France, that bring more fun to the place. That means that I had the same roomates during the whole year. It was for us, no seniority from anyone, no partyment (it was great to go to other apartments to the parties and find there your roomates and then walk home really late), it was really quite, not messy, a big TV and DVD at the living room, we had broadband internet, and we all paid for it (like 6 months after they installed it for free at The Commons). We had our Christmas tree, full of presents and also a nativity. Birthday parties only for the 8 of us, improvised roomates parties. We had a monthly "rommates dinner" where we cooked traditional food from our country. When we arrived from PI and after parties, it was so nice and so much fun because sometimes we arrived drunk and we cooked dinner for each other or help the heart broken one, the one who was a little home sick, or had a fight with the boyfriend, we always listen and helped each other.

The only problem was to have 8 gallons of milk at the fridge... hehehe

When there were no interesting parties we made our "Sex and the City" night, we had all kind of snacks, and all the seasons of the show. It was great, really great. My roomates all of them were nice, there was never a fiight and it was great to have breakfast or dinner together.

I wish all of you get great roomates as me.

I keep in touch with the 7 of them and I miss my apartment so much, as well as my fun great roomates from all around the world!

    Hils,

Isolda, it is sooo great to have 7 roomies like that! I only had three and felt so lucky! I wish everyone will be as hapy as we were, no matter if they only have 1, 3, 5 or 7 roomies.

You have 1 bathroom for 2 people, 2 for 4 and 8 people, and for 6 it's probably also 2. Not sure though ???
