the shotguns a difficult weapon to master, i never could! lol, you got xbox live? have to give you a game

 

You have to be pretty close range for the shotgun to do any damage. The rocket launcher is always key, especially when playing with vehicles, though I have survived a rocket launcher lock on without overshields. Tanks are fun and so are sniper rifles. Close range you need a sword!

 

I like to use the shotty on swords... they don't know what hit 'em!

i have another computer question!!! i have just got my new laptop!! so when i arrive at the commons how do i get online? i know i need an eithernet cable - so is it just a case of pluging that in and then using internet explorer?? or is there software that i have to get before i can get online??

 

I think its just an ethernet cable you need if i remember correctly, plug and play, maybe configure a new network tho? Sure there must be someone around to help if you get stuck. What one did you go for in the end Kerry? Was it you that emailed me about laptops?lol

1. for your laptop you can just plug it in and go.

2. for Xbox Live from what I know you're SOL. Meaning that no you can't use it. They have bandwidth restrictions keeping P2P programs and things like Live from working. Although aparently if you call the ISP and request increased bandwidth (for gaming) it will work but will cost you 10 bucks a month (and you need to pay it 3 months at a time). Not sure if this will even work for live but as far as I can tell is the only option.

 

Thanks for clearing that up, def worth paying the $10 i reckon, easily done if theres a few of you in the place as well that are gonna use it, dunno how live works over there tbh, its pretty simple here, most ISPs allow it to come out of your normal bandwidth, it doesn't use too much

 

Yeah I think it's the same here, I'm just worried about how picky live is in general if it'll work with the connection we have... but yeah it could be worth it to get live working.

Keep in mind your 360 won't work the the TVs (at least without an adaptor) or the games here tho.

 

Yeah i'd buy a 360 or Wii over there i think, i've got a stepdown converter that i can use with a US console so it works here, hence my working PS3,lol

Oh yes, and H3 would be the main reason I'd consider taking my 360.

I just get informed, that you can pay 30 dlls every 3 months, so you can get a personal ip, with no restrictions @ all.... so you can use your internet as free as you can!

i found a page that has a walkthrough and they tell you which world you have to choose so its a bit easier o well ill try killing him today lol ;D

 

Well I applied for the CR program, was waitlisted, and placed on a different program. I did that (June to November 06 doing Epcot Out Door Foods, and Mission:SPACE attraction) and while I was there re-interviewd for the CR program which I'm going back for in June.
