yeah i learnt a lot about spiel when i was living in London a few years ago working in a sushi restaurant .....u UK lads must know about Yo! Sushi.....when you get there you get the whole "have you been to Yo sushi before, do you know how it works? bla bla bla...:" we had to be able to explain the whole menu and tell people what was inside that funny looking roll of boiled rice...... ;D
I remember in my interview Jeff asking me if I got bored explaining things OVER and OVER and I laughed at him!! I work for Casino Rama here in Ontario Canada and I explain the same spiel EVERYDAY over and OVER!! I have enjoyed playing with different ways of explaining it!! I have added things and even got my fellow co-workers involved in the task!! Makes your day fun and gets you excited to go to work!! I JUST got back from a trip to see THE MOUSE a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to take a menu but they were telling me that they were about to change so it would have NOT helped me!! OH WELL, it's exciting and I RREALLY look forward to it!!
As long as my rents payed, and I have enough for food, It dosn't matter to me how much extra I have...
so i see you keep talking about merch geting a certain amont of pay does it change for FB ? if it said somewhere sorry i missed it..quite dim.
F&B and Merch get the same wage, unless you're in a tipped F&B position, then your hourly wage is just under the "normal" wage since you get plenty of tip money.
