Tom19, I think it's somewhere around the $6 mark... But I'm really not sure, so please don't hold me to that!

I'm International College Program Ops too! I'm May 30th though, so I'm sure I'll see ya on June 11th!

OK I'm a CP in QS F&B and I get paid $6.40 which I think is wrong because people I know in the same job doing the same thing and CP's too get $6.90. So someone's getting paid wrong.

I got $260 last week for 52 hours... and then went shopping so hehe... but I've worked out if I spend nothiing for another 5 weeks... I'll have over $1000, so it is quite easy to save money...it just depends how willing you are to do a lot of hours, and how much you spend when you get your paycheck.

I'm with you Lou...it's obviously just US CPs that get the $0.50 supplement for QS F&B, but it does seem odd...

Yeah IPs get paid more than CPs and ICPs. ;) It was $6.70 I think when I was there and it went up to $7.00 after 12 months.

Like Louisa, I was working mega mandatory overtime (up to 70 hours a week total  ) when I first got there so I was minted ;D but alas, had no time to spend it. ::) For the last few months of my contract however, as my senority rose to the top and our staffing levels rose, I chose to work usually less than 30 hours. Not much money, but plenty of time to enjoy myself. ;)

Alas, on the IP it's difficult to have much control over your hours. :-\ You can't pick up OT anywhere but your pavilion, doing your role and if your pavilion is short staffed, the only folks who can work there are the IPs, hence you'll have a lot of mandatory OT. But as your senority grows, and you become shift-pick savvy, you'll be able to get closer to the work pattern you want. But it's def. not guarenteed.

i don't mind overtime...i'm used to it ...and i am so looking forward to working anyway...does that make me odd?

When I was in UK Merch I did mostly 4 day weeks with 3 days off which was great if you got 3 days off back to back. That was working 10 hour days though which weren't that bad and worth it to get 3 days off. ;D

The wages were liveable and as Ona said if the staffing levels are low you'll definitely get a chance for overtime. We did at one point and the wages quite nicely funded a trip to Las Vegas for me and my friend!!! ;) In fact, I think our tax return contributed to that trip too!!!

Just remember to invite family out to visit when your food is running low!!!! And find all the places that do dollar beers and you'll be ok!!! Jellyrolls on a Tuesday night a must!!! ;D

    Laura. :)

Oh gosh I was astonished last week after the presentation held during the Italian set of interviews for Alfredo's...there were actually some guys who left after hearing the wages we were going to get during the first few months in Florida!!!

Well, my personal opinion is that the experience is priceless itself...can you really put a price on the memories, the friends, all the beautiful experiences down there???
And this is very silly also because Alfredo's is known for being one of the most succesfull restaurant in the whole Epcot....so loads of tips if you can get to become a waiter!

Can't really walk into these positions thinking that money is going to be in the MASSIVE AMOUNTS category!!

You have to work at getting good enough to GET those tips!! When you can prove to the managers you can handle it, you will get the floor and get the cash!!

    yeah
they were really clear about getting good enough to become a waiter....like you will have to take a test and all of this not sooner than 3 months.......it all makes sense!

You have to learn the speil for the menus and convince the managers that you GOT IT!!
You can WOW the managers first and then they will let you loose on the guests!! HAHAH

You have to memorize the menus and if you can do that, you got it!!

WOW the managers with your POPCORN and BEAVER TAIL SKILLS first!! ;D ;D
