i've never got lost at disney, but we've lost my mum on several occasions :D i remember reading on a forum that parents should plan their kids clothes and take pictures of them, so they can show cast members if they get lost. and another member said to wear the same colour as your kids. it must be a big problem!

    thats a really good idea.

It was easy last year as andrew and i were wearing thing 1 and 2 tops!!

  6. well we never lose children ... just the parents lol but yeh there are quite a few children who get themselves lost though sometimes the parents are really rotten to their children when we reunite them. I had a little girl who had lost her father in front of the village friary and i did the usual thing...told her that we can go look for her and then her father came up and just shouted at her for moving when she hadn't moved he had. It was really mean and I felt really sorry for her.

doesnt disney say ts the parents that get lost, not the kids? i heard that somewhere.

That is really rottn what that dad did. You cant yell at kids in disney, especially when they havent done anything wrong.

    Does that happen a lot?

aww, that's mean. He won't have meant it though. It's every parents nightmare to lose their child, it probably just came from sheer panic.

I guess some parents are dissapointed when the kids come back, and vice versa! bet they were trying to lose them all along... darn cast members :D :D

  9. haha yeh. We are always told when we find a lost child to say that it is the parents who are lost as we know where they are they, they are with us of course.

I wouldnt care if i lost my mum and dad, i would just go around the park, and they can look for me if they wish.

I usually separate too. My mum usually gets tired and wants to go back to the hotel for a break but not me!! Haha

i dont go on massive rides in universal (ie hulk) but i tend to go on everything in disney. my boyfriend and sister went on rides together that me and her boyfriend didnt like the sound off.

to have a rest i just sit on a bench and people watch.

We have walky talkies in the parks! Its weird when you're on the same frequency as another family because you end up having conversations with them LOL.

We were on a resort bus once and the CM was telling us that a child lost on a bus can be found within 7 minutes through the use of their radios...that's also with stuff like kidnapping (heaven forbid!).

It's amazing how quickly things get done when something bad has happened. We had quite a few lost parents when I was a CM...it's really hard when they don't speak much English as well...you want to help so much but you just can't until a CM who speaks the language turns up.

You know DS lites? well during teh million dreams they let some people test out the system. it would show the map, ride queue times and general information about the park and contents etc. I dont know if i wil be able to find the link again but i will try. I tlooked good and the people who tried it gave feedback on what could be improved etc.
