I was there for a year and came back with 5 suitcases and shipped 3 boxes...if you like to shop and love your discount, one spare suitcase will not be enough! Shipping by sea will be cheap.
How much is it to ship by sea and how much is it by air, does anyone know? Well knowing me i would dump all my clothes and just take back all my new clothes, and merchandise. I am going to have a field day, i will probably have my orders from my brother, he always gets trainers from florida and got my aunt to bring him back three pairs this year! I just want to go shop there now.
i'm not sure the exact rates, but shipping is way cheaper. it's normally better to do it by a local post office too instead of bigger companies. or we could just hook up with some pirates, i'm sure they'll lend us some cargo space.
yeh i'd keep the small valuable things with you and then send home bigger items. my box will no doubt be crammed pins and mikey ears!! when i went tavelling i shipped a big box, and it took two months to arrive. it was a reeeeally long wait, but when my box came it was brilliant. i'd forgotton what i'd put in there and it was a really special moment when i went through all the things. its well worth shipping just for that excitment of it arriving.
I'd say put the big things in your suitcase and send the light stuff home!!! I shipped all my bags and pillow and very light things home with USPS (kinda like Royal Mail!). It was about $50 per box.
thats very good, i want to get one of those massive disney characters, i think theyre so cool. but i dont think it would be able to fit in our luggage! i think i might get my mum a disney dining set cause theyre so cool.
Yeah, you can't take those massive disney characters on the plane anymore unless you buy them a seat!
LMAO, i could imagine one of the air stewards doing that. No i was talking about the big statue characters.
ah that is awesome. i was told i would need an extra seat for big cuddly toys. i can imagine the steward going, sir sir you need to pay attention to the safety announcement. by the sounds of those prices i will be shipping A LOT home!
lol, ye. i dont think i would want a giant teddy character though! I do however want to get something special for christmas from the disney christmas shop.
thats a great idea. we got some glass mickey tree decorations last time, they show different mickeys over the years, and makes christmas time really special.
One time my brother got a big Goofy and I got a big Pooh and our flight home was pretty empty so we buckled them in the seat between us. It was pretty sweet because the stewardess gave us extra peanuts for them.
LMAO, thats hilarious. I would like a mickey statue to put in our garden! If i was to get any teddy it would have to be a mickey teddy.
i'd love to have been sat near the teddy, just so I could complain to the air stewardess that it was being too rowdy! I don't think i've ever seen the character statues before. Are they massive? The local garden centre sells small ceramic ones for gardens which are fab.
Our christmas theme is Disney!!! We have so many ornaments and spend so much money in the Days of Christmas shop. They're so nice though.
My mum and aunt love that shop, they spent loads last year and we even forgot some of the things we bought, my mum found a few christmas tree decorations whilst searching through a disney bag which was in one of the suitcases.
